I agree about John Lucas. I commented here yesterday that he’s obviously a very talented artist. I just didn’t enjoy the style he used to draw this story. I’m very glad Shelley will be back tomorrow! She is also an extremely talented artist, and I love her work!

It would make sense for Annie and Honeymoon to age, and Crystal too, for that matter. We’ve seen Sparkle grow from a baby to a mother of two over the years, and Bonnie Tracy has also grown from infancy to a young woman. Just recently we enjoyed a cameo of Peanut Butter (who was originally four years older than Honeymoon) as a 20-something-year-old man. Seems like we’re overdue for the young ladies to grow up, too.
“I have some exciting news for you,” said Diet. I’m not sure whether anything Diet has said qualifies as “exciting,” but I would certainly get revved up if he’s working on a time machine! Or maybe a wormhole??
Maybe Flash used to work for Diet on the moon and learned how to fly the space coupe there. Diet used to employ ex cons and other disreputable types. That would have been about 5-7 years ago in strip time by my recollecting.
