For help on how to follow a comic title,
Mysta’s costume is colored wrong, too. In other words, everything’s back to normal!
I looked up “He and She.” Do you know that the stars of that series, Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss, have been married 60 years now? True story!
“I have some exciting news for you,” said Diet. I’m not sure whether anything Diet has said qualifies as “exciting,” but I would certainly get revved up if he’s working on a time machine! Or maybe a wormhole??
Maybe Flash used to work for Diet on the moon and learned how to fly the space coupe there. Diet used to employ ex cons and other disreputable types. That would have been about 5-7 years ago in strip time by my recollecting.
Oh yeah, and his brothers all looked and dressed the same. He had a lot of personality for a throwaway character. Great name, too, Flash Munro.
Have to think Archival will be ready for it, though, as confident as he is.
Mysta has started asserting herself, and now that she’s discovered the exits are blocked, I expect to see a serious flash of temper. A visible flash that is.
Acrophobia here. Totally identify with the Jimmy Stewart character in “Vertigo.”
I wrote “much-loved,” not “universally-loved.” It’s a fair summary of how Mysta is regarded by characters in the strip and by gocomics posters. But yes, I’m well aware that there are some here who hate Mysta and wish she would be killed off like her predecessor was. How could someone who has posted here for years not know that by now? To each his own.
As much as I want to see Mysta put this arrogant so-and-so in his place, something tells me this story will go on for awhile. And that would be a good thing! I don’t mind long set-ups, but especially in this case, I hope the long set-up is followed by a long and involved plot, full of drama, danger, and detective work. Including guest stars like Moon Governor would be fun touch. Putting a beautiful, powerful, virtuous, and much-loved woman in danger is a great beginning. Let’s see where they go with it.
