Hopefully, Bern is only referring to the fact that they don’t allow “glutens” on campus… – But sad to say, it probably isn’t that, at all……

Greg Evans’ vision of modern-day college life is that the students have posters of the Beatles, Alfred E. Newman, and Ziggy (!!!), but they eat Alice B. Toklas brownies? OK, these brownies are likely pure chocolate chip, because this is Luann. The naughtiest thing that college students do in Pitt is burn candles and nail things to their walls.

Optimistically, the ingredients could be just substances that, in themselves are just not looked favorably upon by the school, for consumption in the manner that Dez has them, and nothing severe…in that case:-“Mary, Mary…Quite Contraband”“Dung Tea And Truffle Cakes”“A Favorite With The Baseball Team”“Performance Enhancing Snacks”“Exotic Tack, Tow The Line”“Perfectly Paired With An Energy Drink”“Mrs. Left Field’s”or “Made With Love…And FD&C Yellow #2 1/2”

“Too Many Points In Those Brownies”“High Grades”“Chiffon And Laced”

To start with, all students in the dorm are required to know the policies before they arrive – all available online. Then there are mandatory floor meetings in which all the rules are laid out again – before anyone spends a single night. Oh, and RAs get about a week’s training before the residents arrive. Dorms are far more restrictive today than they were back in the early 80s when you could smell the pot smoke down every hall. Now they can’t have candles, loud music, cooking implements, nails in the wall or even extension cords (though surge protectors are okay). And nobody gets in without a school ID.

But an RA is much more than a controller or enforcer. RAs are supposed to be there to provide guidance to freshmen who might be overwhelmed by all the new responsibilities of being on their own for the first time, or confused by having to pick their own classes, and so on. It’s about having someone like a friendly older sister or brother that you can go to, not just about someone who acts as a police officer…

one odd thing , , , , .So many here seem to imagine that every US University is the same as whatever one they went to..Thus they blame Gregg for being “unreal” if anything varies at Mooney U..In reality, there is NO standard — policies and terminologies vary widely. .THAT is the reality.

Dez is good for Bern, hopefully over time she will get her to relax, smooth over the sharp edges. Bern has priorites and enforcing the unenforceable is not worth the effort. I love that Luann’s mask is on the wall. Ha Ha.. she can’t take that one down!

she only bit a corner off, pretty smart, though I’d consider it VERY rude to hand over a confection without explaining what’s in it first. Not just because it contains pot (seriously, what if she had a drug test the next day?) but even if it contained something like nuts that’s something you should tell the person you’re offering them to.

In a world where Gunther gets drunk out of his mind on half a beer, what would eating a hashish-laden brownie do to Bernice? What I’m saying is that these brownies have to be Betty Crocker-style plain chocolate munchies. This is the Luannverse, people.

In the Luannverse, it is about as likely that Dez serves brownies made with hashish as it is that Frank will turn his warehouse into an opium den. Pitt is as wholesome a place as Disneyland, folks.

Actually, even regular brownies could be a problem if she made them in the dorm room. Most dorms have a no cooking rule because they don’t have built in stoves or ovens and portable ones are considered a fire hazard (same thing for burning candles and inscense).

Many dorms have kitchenettes on every floor, with a fridge and a microwave. Moony may be a school that has full-scale kitchens. (Tiffany has an actual suite, doesn’t she?)

NG, many times the “predator list” is full of assumptions, the way they are listed…………………… to general public, they would see in exact same way the guy that went to the park and took advantage of the 8 years old girl and the 18 years old guy who had consensual sex with his 16 years old GF in a state with a hardline age of consent of 18. (while in the next state 40 miles away, a 30 years old guy can do it with a 16 years old legally, as long as she is not a hooker, and what they did was never photographed or filmed) the list many times do not put the exact crimes they did

On Comics Kingdom, you can post under any name you like, so long as you do so as “guest” rather than linking to a Disqus account. All you need is a valid E-mail address. (I don’t have, or want, a Disqus account, so I always go the “guest” route when I post there as “seismic-2”. If you are a “guest” you don’t get to use an Avatar or keep a record of your posts, but so what.)
