   Talk about stupid. Humans never got “immune” to lots of previous virus epidemics, we just died by the millions. The plague killed half of the population of some parts of Europe, that’s every other person. We did not get immune to it, it came back many times and killed many more people. Typhoid, spanish flu, so many others. If we don’t get a vaccine, or adopt common sense behaviors to avoid getting the virus it will kill many more people, again and again.

   What a stupid and wrong philosophy. Basic respect should be automatic for any person. Its dis-respect that is earned, not respect! Why would you not respect someone you don’t know? On what basis? That philosophy is one of the foundations of racism, elitism and other forms of oppression.

   So you colonize an area, breed like crazy, destroy the habitat, send out a few adventurous individuals to colonize another area, while those left behind die. Sound familiar?

   The traditional 12 days of Christmas start on Christmas day and end on Epiphany (6 January) when the wise men were thought to have visited. hence in the song, one gift for each day, culminating on Epiphany.

   I know this is just a cartoon, but a society that subsists on its own offspring can’t survive. Even if they ate ALL their offspring it would not be nearly enough. Its literally like eating your foot, then laying a new, smaller foot because some of it got used up. Then eating it again and repeating until the foot is gone, then you have to eat your other foot. Cannibalism only works in very limited and temporary situations and only when the offspring have their own independent food source to grow on.
