Olivia does love her meta humor.
Free your hand and the rest will follow.
Nancy is a Trekker.
What today’s hidden meaning in this comic is is that the artist has been stuck in this same job too long and is running out of fresh gags that are actually funny.
Nancy knows the struggle and the squiqqle of being GenZ
Gee I thought wasn’t nice to fool with/criticize Mother nature.
And I thought the rings on a tree told you how old the tree was.
I never figured Aunt Fritzi for a science-denier. Huh.
OMG, gasping with laughter here — thank you, Olivia!
“If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.” — Jack Handy
“What about parts like this place here, when I was having troubles, and there’s just one ring?”
“Those, my niece, were the parts where you were too weary to make a ring, and so I carried you.”
Haha! I know the feeling! My coffee consumption has been increasing during the last few months.
If we keep laughing in an accepting way when Olivia blames coffee for her inability to draw a smooth line, we’re just enabling her drug habit. I, for one, am shocked.
Meta humor. The best kind.
That moment when Nancy realizes that she’s been living in a simulation…
