IMHO, I think it is time for the Trump reality show to come to an end so that the people of the United States can find the least objectionable person to become the next leader of the free world.

In terms of Trump, maybe he is being used by the GOP to show that their other candidates are not so bad? Sometimes you might think that, but then the other candidates come out with bizarre stuff too and sometimes it is as bad if not worse. A recent quote from Jeb Bush after the Oregon shooting: “Look, stuff happens. There is always a crisis. The impulse is always to do something and it’s not always the right thing to do.”

What I can’t understand is how the Donald went from being the joke of Grimlins 2 (about 25 years ago) to running for president today. For those who don’t remember, the straight man in Grimlins 2 was a take off of Trump from the looks to the ego and at the time I thought they nailed the guy. So how did he ever come back from that?

The thing is, he actually SAID this stuff. Out loud. And… people plan to vote for him. :-/ For real. That’s not fiction.

If we substitute proof of sanity from right to keep and bear arms to the right to vote or assemble or speak or press, we can see the danger of placing constitutionally protected rights in the hands of whomever is in power. And don’t think those other rights can’t be abused to kill others. .Speech which falsely scares parents into not vaccinating children may kill millions. Votes to elect certain people could lead to wars killing billions. .Be very careful placing the lives of your loved ones in the hands of others.

Okay, this is really confusing. First I find out that what everyone claims is current Doonsebury is from 1985. Then it turns out the sunday is current! And our paper prints on the wrong day & too small to read the date!
