Hey Teresa! How do I comment on Frog Blog? I often see comment-worthy stuff there, but am not really a fan of Frogapplause (although it’s still better than most comics).

I can see why a Little Guy like you would say that, but it’s like manna from heaven for me!

In Italy, “peperoni” is red bell pepper. and a pizza withpeperoni has peeled red pepper pieces on it. It’s delicious…

The Etaples picture would date from 1914-1915. Etaples is a small town on an estuary that empties into the English Channel; it 1914 it was a fishing town and artist’s colony with a population of about 5000. The British Expeditionary Force established a supply base there in late 1914, and were there until 1920 (by 1917, they had about 100,000 soldiers and support personnel jammed in the area, living in a tent city).

A not-so-famous person with tinnitus is me. Mine is in the right ear only, comes from trauma, and is the only thing I can hear on that side.

@J2P2 The sausage from Calabria can be pretty spicy… I guess I’d ask for “salsiccia piccante”.

“We’ll hold your pickle if you let us. Special orders don’t upset us”.

I wonder if they ever noticed how phallic that jingle is???

Reddit has a forum on tinnitus (r/tinnitus). I’ve had it for over 2 years. Imagine being in the anechoic chamber, with nothing to mask the ringing….Thanks T,Brian

Hey, let’s share tinnitus stories. I’ve had mine for years. It’s a high pitched whistle that sometimes varies in frequency and is louder at times than usual. But, when it’s quiet and I listen to it, I used to hear in the backgroud a chorus of spring peepers and crickets or it would sound like I was down in the basement of Woolworth’s where they sold singing canaries, lots of singing canaries.Alas, the birds are gone, only to be replaced by a Russian Men’s Chorus singing and chanting some 10th century sagas, in three parts yet.My ear doctor found this very interesting. Usually people can’t distinguish what they hear, he said.

Just go to YouTube and search for “Special orders don’t upset us.” I’d post the link but someone is sure to flag it as spam, even though it’s not on the menu.
