Since I bashed feminists in the last strip, I will now say that the Washington Monument was built by Martha and the founding members of NOW to give males a sexual inadequacy complex.“Martha, you mean other men are that big?” Yes, George, I noticed at the Mall swimming hole. You should see how they stared at Dolly’s new suit exposing her ankles"

    Time compression by Sarah Palin.

Danae’s views on history are usually a lot more interesting than what really happened. If schools were to adopt her views maybe kids would continue with aheir educarion and graduate. Hell, her views on everything are more interesting.

Too bad that our textbooks try to condense all of history into a single volume, therefore leaving out what some consider relavant and ignoring what others care about… The way I study history now is to delve deeply into parts and eras that currently interest me so that I can brush over what currently does not. If history were taught that way, the “book” would be an outline and reading list for students; testing would have to be written essays and both students and teachers would be required…to THINK!

If Michelle Bachmann said it, Ronald Reagan would be at the controls inside the monument, telling George Washington to take notes!

And libs carefully delete or "revise’ Christian contributions to the country as well so the Palin/Bachman (Turner Overheated) shots, while well deserved, should be leavened with the realization that both sides want their places in HIS-story written by their biased historians. Dear Danae would serve either side quite well.

Too much to think…Not enough to drink…If history is the cause…Then let us all pause…That the premise is lame…But within the rules of the game…For some poor sci-fi scene…On the National green…Portraying fear of the unknown…Like a secret seed sown…With a twelve-year-old view…That smarter than me or you…Were the powder wigged set…And let us not forget…While their defences proved good…Most thought slavery also would…

Always wondered ‘why StarWars’ (the weapon system, not the movies). Contemplated writing the story of a new President’s first day, learning that [The Aliens Are Coming, and They Are Pissed!] (Classified Blue-Q3-Above Top Secret; Burn Before Reading).Decided if true, it shouldn’t be let out; if not, nobody would believe it, maybe not even Danae…
