So what did Rat succeed in doing, besides getting the FBI’s attention?

Another super easy art strip! At least Pig turns in one panel, but clearly a copy/paste art style. I remember Calivin and Hobbes complaining about it one time.

If Rat keeps this up, he’ll never succeed in anything at all.

Persistence is important. Stalking, less so.

After a point, persistence will break you. And you won’t be persistent any more.

Rat – consider the possibility that the job for which you are applying doesn’t actually exist.

That’s not persistence. That’s…. something else.

This actually worked for me. I remember when I handed the guy my application the guy stuck it away in a big file full of applications. I went back the next day, told him I really needed the job and he hired me on the spot.

The idea in the cartoon transcends work. You don’t want to be a pest anywhere.

I often wonder what my life would be like if my husband hadn’t been so persistent. I really did try to discourage him.

Ha! Discernment is key of course, but in truth, I don’t think there is anything more important in life than persistence; except maybe breathing- persistently.
