MAGAts applaud the idea of a Trump dictatorship because he tells them what they want to hear, and they therefore believe that he will ignore everyone’s rights other than their own. If they hate anyone who isn’t strictly heterosexual— they figure Trump will somehow get rid of any one who isn’t. Their religious views will have the power of law. White straight men will be in total control. It isn’t impossible to accomplish this sort of thing if you have dictator powers. Hitler managed quite a bit along that line, and he only had power for a few years and wasted a lot of effort on WWll. He would have total control of the media, so we would have little knowledge of what is going on, and total control of the armed forces and police, so there would be no mechanism for whistle blowing even if we did know. If you think it can’t happen here, think again. It only takes enough people to get the ball rolling in that direction, and there are apparently 780000000 who either are fine with it or too dumb to know any better.
