We are back to spelling “Xaviera” as “Xaveria” again. Tracy is back to check the yearbook one more time to check the details that he only glanced at before.

At least it was Choate. Students at Canterbury don’t commit crimes, unless you count our hockey team that stole wins consistently!

I wonder if Owen who’s appears to be smitten with Madam X will cause Dick any trouble in his investigation of her?

Dr. Appointment today with urologist to check on (lack of) kidney stones progress…appointment at 11:30, I go in to work for 7:45 and my manager only scheduled me til 10:30so she assumed I wasnt coming back (I intended to but then she ticked me off) so I have 6 hours of PTO time to cover the 5 hours of a full shift, plus I didnt take lunch yesterday (because the entire store ticked me off) so I get to use less PTO to cover it…I should be home by probably no later than 12:30…got my xray and my $35 copay ready and my 50 ounces of water

Oh come on. We all know Xaviera (however you spell it) is Slytherin through and through.

I’m minded of this old chestnut:

A Penn student and a Drexel student are using the men’s room, and the Penn student notices the Drexel student is walking out without washing his hands.

“You know, at Penn, we’re taught to wash our hands after using the toilet!”

“Yeah? Well, at Drexel, we’re taught not to **** on our hands!”

Side note: “Hindfield” is an analogue for “Deerfield,” as in “Deerfield Academy,” Choate’s long-standing and sometimes bitter arch-rival. (hind = female red deer). Owen here is making something of defensive mechanism joke, given that he’s shocked that someone he knew from his class is a prime suspect. (I definitely recall a long series of snide jokes about Deerfield back in the day.)

Ahh – we’re taking our coat off and staying a while.

“Owen, I have a question about Xaviera. Is her name really Xaveria?”

“Owen, I have a question about Xaviera. Do your lips stick to her like a frozen flagpole when you try to kiss her?”

So Tracy ran in and ran out, and somehow managed to call Owen while driving?

Surely not the mad poisoner from last night’s dream — Xaviera Hollandaise, the Happy Cooker! (Yeah, I have strenge dreams)

TRACY: I have irrefutable proof. Look in this convenient yearbook that I just pulled off the shelf. Check her picture and the notation ‘Most likely to commit multiple murders.’ Also the club she belonged to, most of which were light, whimsical spins on murder cults. THAT, sir, is highly scientific Detective Work!

2-OWEN: NO, TRACY! I WON’T HOOK YOU UP WITH XAVE-DI-RIA AGAIN! Give it up already. She would’ve returned your calls if your date at her library had worked out.

3-DT: You’re right. Soooo… who else at Choate was a hotty? Lemme see here…

OWEN: Well, my wife was… DT: Yeah…here she is. YIKES! Arf Arf! Hard pass.

can someone refresh my memory as to what was the deal with the missing Volume 4 way at the start of this interminably long story?

was it ever touched upon as to what was up with that?…

I’m too lazy to go back and research that point…

and besides, the story is too long to look through, so phuc it with the effort… LOL…
