Balessandro Iancardi One time I was 9 feet, 4.3 inches big.

May the Lord be with you as He is with me.

With their aquatic skills – and powerful bite – jaguars are able to prey on the crocodile-like caiman. An extraordinary act of such predation was filmed by a tourist in Brazil’s Pantanal.

Let’s hope that fish that jaguar is chasing isn’t a piranha.

Seeing a jaguar swim is a bit like seeing a turtle run.

TierZoo declared the jaguar to be the most competitive wild feline in the biosphere. Sure, it probably wouldn’t win a fight with a lion or tiger, but it totally dominates its home turf.

I’d like to know how a 9-foot catfish got only 4.2 inches from the Po River, and why Alessandro got credit for reeling in a fish that was not in the water. I’m just curious that way.

Dang! That 9 foot catfish had to be the great-great-great-granddaddy of all the catfish in that river!

I always love the artwork, but that jaguars face is just too adorable!
