So this is a character that is going to be fun to hate, whatever role she ends up playing. Eric has done a good job so far of construing her. For a comic strip, she doesn’t have to have much depth or character development, but this sets up a lot of interesting possibilities in the dynamics with the other characters. We already see Owen cowing here. I’m interested to see how Tracy holds his own with her. Will she try to manipulate him either personally or through some kind of political influence? Or will he get the better of her right away? Interpersonal manipulation is just a sociological con game and “you can’t con an honest person,” or with interpersonal relationships, you can’t con someone who doesn’t care.

We all get it she’s a misanthorpic with utter disregard for anything male. Just get on with it!

Not surprising as I’ve wanted to post the last couple of days that she looks like she’s either going to turn into Wonder Woman or sound like a 1930’s German military officer. You don’t mess with either btw.

Truly, not much happening today, literally. Ms. Libris remains motionless and expressionless though all three panels, and thereby is totally intimidating to poor Owen….

He should have still been standing (to be polite), which I think is the reason she demeaned him.
