Matt Gaetz needs just five Republicans to oust McCarthy – and he already has three

After weeks of “chaos” within the House Republican conference that led to a down-to-the-wire near-shutdown of the federal government, U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has spent the past two days vowing to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy for reaching across the aisle to pass legislation keeping the government running.Gaetz’s own future is in question with some of his Republican colleagues vowing to expel him should an unfavorable report be released by the House Ethics Committee on his possible sexual misconduct and illicit behaviors including possible drug use and possible public corruption.

But he can’t do it unless Dems agree, snerk!

McCarthy in ‘immediate danger’ of being ousted as Dems show no willingness to save him

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) tenure as leader of the House of Representatives appears to be on very thin ice.Punchbowl News reports that McCarthy is in “immediate danger” of being ousted by his own party after rebellious Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) filed a motion to vacate the chair.

I think this is an insult to the “Florida man” – normally they are weird or strange – like the old man riding a bike wearing a thong (Tallahassee regular), the Daytona State College students “locked” in and unlocked janitor closet….and the list goes on. Gaetz is not one of those – what he does and says hurts people!

It has been reported that Gaetz’ old man: Donald, age 75, is intending to run for a Florida Senate seat up in Okaloosa County in the panhandle which is basically the same ruby red region where his nut job son has been elected to the house, Florida’s first district. Looking at Gaetz’ senior platform, it is easy to see how “Junior” has turned out to be a diabolical far right tool of the Trumpsters.

Once upon a time Junior Gaetz’ congressional seat was held by Joe Scarborough, the right wing mouthpiece who now argues with his conservative democratic wife Mika on MSNBC weekday mornings and used to get ripped up by Mika’s Dad; Zbigniew Brzezinski arguing politics when ZB was still alive and stopped by the show quite regularly. I kind of wish Scarborough would try to take back his seat as an independent (he left the repubbas as the Trumpsters took over) just to silence Gaetz even though Morning Joe is pretty alt-right himself but at least he is not a pedo to the best of my knowledge but then again, Joe has a cushy job at MSNBC so why would he go back in the cesspool which is NW FL politics?!?!?!

Another rumor floating out there is that Junior Gaetz may try to run for governor, in this case I kind of understand his logic, if someone as sleazy and diabolical as DeSatan can get elected and re-elected, just about any far right whacko has a decent shot at winning. Hopefully Nikki Fried can help the Florida Democratic Commission run campaigns better as chairperson than ousted Manny Diaz who really thought Charlie Crist had a good chance of defeating DeSatan……..

The PRC is currently having astronomical unemployment, especially of the young. The PRC governmental solution is to redefine any young adult who has never held a job for a significant time. So, no longer are they unemployed young adults. They now are “full time children” and therefore no longer in the ranks of China’s unemployed. Suddenly, the numbers are more attractive.

It makes me think that perhaps McCarthy should have long ago used a similar approach for Gaetz, Greene, Boebert, Santos, Kean, et. al. and redefine the entire Brat Pack as full time children who are therefore not employed.

Too late now. Will the Democrats save him and hope he will finally re-learn how to work in a bipartisan manner since McCarthy actually has a history of having done so and at one time rejected anti-democracy reactionaries, or will a different candidate emerge who is able to work with both parties. There are those on both sides who can not do that, but there also are those on both sides who can and who regularly do. Heck, there are bipartisan coalitions in the House for specific issues and the members of those point to actual solutions; why not generalize outward and provide the nation with people who negotiate, who learn, who are open minded, who are civil, and who use those skills to place the nation before political parties?
