Shouldn’t the leaves be orange during this time of the year?
Well that leaf’s just floating in midair
It got lost on the way to the ground.
A lazy leaf. Inspired by a lazy cat.
If it’s using antigravity, is it called the Millennium Fall Con?
Maybe you mewed his r-ear off…Me-ow! That’s “Leafing on a Chat Pain”, folks! (Works in Muncie as well as in – let’s say… “Denver”)
It’s not losing interest. It’s just leafing.
this leaf doesn’t understand the gravity of this situation
The tree is too comfy.
Is the joke that the leaf has stopped in mid air and no longer wants to fall or that it is stil falling and has lost interest in falling off the tree??
Stopped to ask directions.
Nothing worse than an indecisive leaf…
I didn’t think the leaves had a choice to fall.
It’s too late to turn back now
I believe, I believe, I believe I’m falling from a tree
Or he discovered the secret of anti-gravity
I have some evergreen trees that lose leaves all the time. But, the fallen leaves are usually brown, not green.
imagine if Newton saw that
Eh, screw gravity.
Casually floats in midair
We Cats consider the “Law of Gravity” as just a suggestion…
And I thought that cat hair can only do that (Reference to an older strip from the 80s).
HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!!!
Nah, Jim didn’t want to draw another panel…
I would probably stare at a non-spinning leaf myself.
Indecision is an awful thing.
“LOST INTEREST?”
(imagines a different version of this part of the dialogue of this cartoon)
WHY DID IT STOP?
Just stopped by to say “Hi”……
