This cartoon is an implicit lie (far as I can tell): It implies that there is some evidence, even if they haven’t seen it yet.

There should be consequences for those making false claims. A year or two in jail might focus their tiny little minds.

The Republicans should be commended for doing such a good job of showing how ethical and law-abiding Biden is; as well as showing what excellent work the Biden administration, and the Democrats in general, have been doing. They are also doing an excellent job of showing how truly corrupt they are.

It really is worth commending. Loudly, and often.

“… A far-right House Freedom Caucus member said on Sunday that any evidence linking President Joe Biden to any high crime or misdemeanor “doesn’t exist right now” as some Republicans push to impeach him.

Appearing on MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki,” Republican Rep. Ken Buck was asked about the constant push from political bomb-thrower Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to impeach the president. Buck noted the “time for impeachment is the time when there’s evidence linking President Biden to a high crime or misdemeanor.”

“That doesn’t exist right now,” he said.

Buck said that Greene previously attempted to impeach Biden “before he was sworn into office more than two and a half years ago.”

“The idea that she is now the expert on impeachment or that she is someone who should set the timing on impeachment is absurd,” Buck said.

Greene has been pushing for an impeachment inquiry to begin for weeks, and on Monday, she said she wants the GOP to launch it as soon as this week. …" __ Business Insider

As soon as they come up with some evidence, I’ll want Joe Biden indicted just as much as Trump— for anything he has done personally— relatives who were never elected to anything get their own day in court with whatever proof is available against them. No special treatment for anyone.

However, so far there is no evidence from any legitimate source. I actually heard the quote "AN UNVERIFIED REPORT FROM AN UNDISCLOSED SOURCE” ON Fox the other day. They then went into ten minutes of speculation on what could have happened or would happen if the report turned out to be true. By that time, who is going to remember that there was zero proof that it was?

‘Cowards love company’: GOP strategist describes downfall of his party

Numerous Republican lawmakers chose to be cowards instead of standing up against Donald Trump, Stuart Stevens, Chief Strategist of Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, said on Wednesday.Stevens appeared on CNN’s The Source with Kaitlan Collins and was asked about reports that Mitch McConnell told Romney that others were thinking the same things as Romney was, but were unable to voice their concerns.

US politics is quickly becoming unravelled. I guess it would be more accurate to say that the Republicans are unravelling US politics. There are big problems that need to be addressed. I would put Climate Change at the top, but there are many others. But because of the petulance of a loser and his followers, there’s little hope of any serious measures to deal with these problems. It’s sad, but it’s also tragic.

Fortunately, the animal in question is too big to be a Dem donkey, so no Biden evidence is being referred to. Still, the suggestion that there is any evidence show’s Arial’s Repub base.

What a farce. An expensive farce that is also an international embarrassment. Yet another hit on our standing in the world. It has been slowly improving a little bit after djt was finally kicked out of the White House, though it may never recover completely from the worldwide shock that he could become president, but things like this don’t help rebuild confidence in the American people.

Lying traitor republicans keep stepping out of their lane

Jim Jordan: Jack Smith’s funding is ‘bright red line’ that would force government shutdown

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) suggested Republicans will force a government shutdown if special counsel Jack Smith’s prosecutions of former President Donald Trump go forward. During an interview on Thursday, right-wing host Charlie Kirk asked Jordan if Smith’s defunding and decreased immigration would be “bright red lines” in an agreement to keep the government open before a Sept. 30 deadline.

Republicans will hold the country hostage for their criminal cult leader.

    From Brookings:

    " …

“If Republicans don’t understand the generational gap that we have right now, ‘28, ‘30,‘32 and 2036 are going to be disastrous for the Republican party … the youngerRepublican priority is very different than the [priorities] of my generation and above.”NH Republican Governor Chris Sununu, March 15, 2023, LX News interview

A Pew October 2022 survey showed thatyounger (18-44 years old) and older (45 years old) Democrats were in close accordon “social issues” such as America’s openness to newcomers, the perception ofcontinuing challenges facing African Americans and women, as well as on economicissues like the necessity of business regulation and assistance to the needy andattitudes toward Donald Trump. By contrast, there were statistically significantdifferences between younger and older Republican identifiers, especially on the “socialissues” and feelings about the former president; so much so that on some issues 1844-year-old Republicans are more closely aligned with their Democratic compatriotsthan their Republican elders

    …"
