    Good morning™, everybody!

So, at the risk of stating the obvious (as I’ve apparently done many time before), four people came into the employee parking lot ready to start their shift and four other people from the previous shift left work a few minutes later (apparently, nobody carpools), but there was a fifth, very distinctive, car which drove in with the incoming shift people and then left with the outgoing shift people.

It does seem that Anders works in this complex somewhere, but I don’t think he works in the building with the regional manager.

    Good morning™ Noose Tighteners !

He must have some kind of card or badge they are looking for. Madcaps is in for more heat than he thinks, just because he can slink off from that adjacent warehouse building, that was not sweeped by Dick and Sam or yet to be, if that Suv is a uniform keeping an eye on the area.

Sigh, reading this story has become like walking the green mile!

It is going to look like those who drive, or own “classic automobiles” are suspects. Really now! If the person does upkeep and gets access to parts, the person should not be penalized. Imagine the hullabaloo if a 1989 Toyota Camry were shown.

I’m beginning to think we’re reading the first comic strip written by an A.I. program.

Comics have been described as a synthesis of words and pictures, but increasingly this story’s words and pics are in gear-grinding conflict….

Nice seeing someone else use Riger. I was kind of hoping he wasn’t a one-shot when I created him.

Soon enough there will be no more unsolved small crime. Security cameras and monitors everywhere will eliminate the chances of actually getting away with small crime.

The only unsolved crimes will be the big ones, done by politicians, bankers, lawyers and such. Where they hide behind words. Where they commit their crimes in broad daylight and then skulk away, into the murk of social media. Where we KNOW that what they did was wrong, but we argue about the word used to describe it and they twist the meanings and tie up the courts.

Until sooner or later some sad, misguided soul decides that the only justice is vigilante justice.

Argos must be on a scale with Diet Smith Enterprises if they have people working day and night shifts.

Try finding that in real life these days.

In the end, everybody is going to show up at exactly the same time.We draw straws to see who gets away in the confusion.

Big props to that Caprice looking suitably Caprice! Those tail-lights are very distinctive, just as much as the big blocky shape!

1-DT: Well, we picked out our next unmarked car from the selection we had available. So now lets talk about this Argos Job Application I found on your desk, Sam.

2-SAM: Uh. They forced it on me when they learned that their current Guard Shack Man lets killers in. DT: Uh huh. Well I read it and you described your current job as “Preventer / Fixer of boneheaded errors made by the Chief Of Detectives”

SAM: Erm…oh! I meant “Of Police! Chief Of POLICE! GIZMO: Why am I even here?

3-DT: Sure you did. Tell you what. All’s forgiven if you can pull our new car out of that tight parking space without tapping bumpers or scratching the paint! SAM: GULP!

Tracy and Sam in deep shadow while looking at a video in the HQ Viewing Room – panel 1 is a very Gouldian piece of art. Gould first introduced the Viewing Room, with theater seating, during the 50s when he was using the TeleGuard TV System quite a lot.

I know some people hate the slow story, but I love it. Finally some investigation work is being done in real time rather than just skipping it like in some stories.

Correct me if I’m wrong….but until the last two days Dick Tracy has NEVER used a specific brand name identifier on anything its long history. Everything was generic with no brand or manufacturer name used.

Today, tech rules! As in the Olden Times of Chester Gould, new technological devices are helping Tracy identify the perp (whom we know as Madsen). Next up is apprehension….
