Older than I'd like to be, but forever young when it comes to comics and comic strips.
You’d think Wren would worry that Basil might skip out on her with the Froyne— but of course she knows he’s in no shape to even walk out with it.
Unless by some very weird twist of plot J & C weren’t responsible for the gas attack, how could they think Tracy would not start ‘poking around’ after they caused such an uproar? Badguys here get dumber every day….
The only surprise here is the jarring abruptness of the reveal….
Stan wrote so much stuff that in rereading a lot of Silver Age Marvels I now notice that he couldn’t keep track of certain villains’ speech patterns, having them talk like B-movie thugs in one issue and college professors in another….
She was jolly well pithed when she bought them….
Looks like she just got back from a safari (where she shot an elephant in her pajamas, natch)….
Afraid I can’t find much that’s new or innovative in the parade of returned/resurrected/related/replicated villains we so often see these days….
Yeah, but a good story arc should have logical motivations….
Jett doesn’t look strong enough to clamber over a carpet bulge….
Dunno, if the Froyne was stolen and replaced with a copy beforehand, why would the thief want to create a mysterious and alarming incident guaranteed to launch an investigation instead of just letting the exhibition proceed normally and uneventfully?
