I know, I know. How dare I criticize such a carefully thought out, perfectly logical, and knee-slappingly funny premise as this week’s arc? Right now McKay, Herriman, McManus, Capp, Kelly, Schulz, and Watterson must be rolling in their graves that they never thought of this.
What’s that? Watterson isn’t dead? That’s O.K., he will be once Dimorphos hits the planet.
At the risk of being scolded because I don’t write my own comic strip…
You see, it’s funny because the, um, World Court of Crimes Against Humanity(?) sent him a letter about being charged with a crime. So he’ll be….arrested? Not sure that’s before or after the world explodes. And everybody is just calm and pretending this is not worse than Ed running over mailboxes.

And if the world ends tomorrow, Ed doesn’t have to pay a thing.

You haven’t been watching/reading the news lately, Ed?

Don’t worry folks, Ed will pull a ‘Major Amos B. Hoople’.

Maybe the Defense Dept. will mistake it for a spy balloon and try to shoot it down.

They will let him off easy this time

That’s just ridiculous. Is this strip planning to end and that’s how they’ll do it?

It may be a bit of a stretch to blame Ed for EVERYTHING that could destroy the planet.

Doubt if you will ever go to prison……

“Bad news: I’ll get life in prison. Good News: That’s only a few days!”
ToneeRhianRose 11 months ago
Well the good news is that if the Earth’s about to be destroyed you won’t have to worry about the suit!
