Grandma and Great Grandma didn’t fight and die in WW1 or WW2 so these things balance out?

Skip the onion and just double up on garlic instead.

My dad and raw onions. I love it in salads, burgers, hot dogs, etc., no issues.

Onions….not a problem. Cucumbers, I guess depending on the variety……can peat and repeat many times over.

My wife and I agree with Janis’ comment when it comes to raw onions. Cooked onions are no problem.

Want to be alone on occasion? Just eat garlic or raw onions.

I find, as I get older, that some things are harder to digest than they used to be.

Burping onion is only a problem if it is inappropriately accompanied.

For example burping the onions on your burger, along with the coffee and chocolate cake you had for dessert.

I like onions too, and radishes, and cucumbers, and watermelons – but they don’t like me :-(

Onions don’t like me either unless they’ve been cooked for a very long time (think soup) or have lots of vinegar (think salsa).

One thing I miss is my much younger stomach. I have to be careful what I eat, especially late in the day now.

I get along great with my flatulence because I do enjoy the “onyon” (every time I see that word I think of the Cajun Chef—Justin Wilson,…I guarantee. (grin)). I just have to remember the Kenny Rogers lyric , “know when to hold ’em and no when to leave!”
