The tail is like a rudder.

That’s some serious tail wagging.

I believe I can fly…

Now that’s a tail wind

However, there is a not so subtle difference between gliding to a landing and a face plant. The snout debris stays with you all day.

That’s impressive, but all the smells are down here.

Wonder how long he’ll stay aloft? Yikes! ☺️

A fugitive from the Thanksgiving Parade!

He discovered he had the power of flight when his human called him a good boy especially enthusiastically.

When I was 4 or 5 I absolutely knew I could fly if I could just get the ‘feeling’ right when I launched myself. One of the more pervading memories from my early youth. The depiction in the panel above triggered that particular memory.

As evidenced by young women all over the world every day.

I had a flying dream last night. Been a while. I was able to hover at increasing altitudes if I concentrated hard enough. I think I managed to get at least 3 stories up, maybe more. I could also travel forward at about a walking pace while in the air and I enjoyed showing off this ability in the dream.

Very impressive indeed……..
