Question to both sides of the great divide: How do we unite the country now and come back together to common ground from so much disinformation? Is another civil war inevitable?

Hillary is not the one spreading conspiracy theories. Instead, false rumors are spread about her. She did the right thing and conceded the vote to Trump although she won the popular vote. He, on the other hand, spreads the big lie about the election being stolen from him while trying to undermine every election in this country.

The Supreme Court is likely to rule in Moore v Harper to give state legislatures absolute power to determine Congressional districts and how Presidental Electors are chosen. So, republicans dominate state legislatures in all the swing states and would be empowered to disregard the popular vote and select republican electors.

Clearly, the US political parties recruit neither the best/brightest nor those accomplished problem solvers willing to work with others, … bit rather those seeking personal/political power with no actual leadership abilities. Successful organizations would eliminate/dismiss most of these people — as competent experienced/knowledgeable team players are needed to function positively.

Oh, well, now, this is too much. Hilary may be engaged in ‘24 conspiracy theories, but you and your Repub friends are engaged in conspiracy fact. You have state legislatures that make it a crime to vote Dem. To elect a Dem is to activate a law that overturns that election in support of the Repub candidate. This makes Hilary’s theories more like tell-it-like-it-is facts.

The Conspiracy Theories A Conservative Must Believe Today

    1. The belief that 10,000 climate scientists all around the world are either stupid, or engaged in a massive criminal conspiracy to concoct bad science in order to receive…more government grant funding. And that no other scientists are exposing it.

    2. The belief that there is a giant conspiracy across all of news media to make Republicans look bad and elect Democrats–in spite of continually unfair press coverage of candidates like both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton–in exchange for…what? It’s never really clear.

    3. The belief without evidence that there is a giant conspiracy across local, state and federal elections officials all across the country to engage in mass wide-scale voter impersonation fraud. Needless to say, this would be insanely complicated, incredibly risky and hugely inefficient.

    4. The belief that that there is a giant conspiracy to push migrants to the border in order to change the demographics of the U.S., in order to…increase taxes and gain “control”? This is a pretty nonsensical conspiracy, but it’s among the most common. It’s no surprise that this sort of rhetoric echoes fascist antisemitic tropes, which is why George Soros is so commonly included.

    5. The belief that there was a deep conspiracy to elect a man named “Barack Hussein Obama” to the presidency in order to implement socialism in America…and that the shadowy socialist cabal picked a guy named “Barack Hussein Obama” for the job. Or made up his birth certificate from scratch and decided on one of the most unlikely presidential names imaginable in his birth year.

    6. The belief that the “Deep State” entrapped Trump with Russia entanglements before the 2016 in order to derail his presidency if he won, but didn’t use it to stop him from winning, but were blindsided when he won, but have stymied his every move afterward.

So there’s no such thing as the “independent state legislature theory” that would give state legislatures wide authority to gerrymander electoral maps and pass voter suppression laws, or used as political cover to try to overturn elections? And SCOTUS isn’t going to adjudicate that theory?

‘Communist Voodoo science’: David DePape reportedly maintained bizarre blog that posted conspiracy rants

The man arrested in connection with the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband at the couple’s San Francisco home has been identified as 42-year-old David DePape, who reportedly used a hammer as a weapon in the attack.

According to reports, DePape was a frequent poster of conspiracy theory-related memes, as well as other content that dealt with vaccine denial, 9/11 trutherism, and false claims about COVID-19 and the 2020 election.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, he blogged about “the ruling class” and claimed the “elites/ruling class never censor themselves.” The posts were made in a WordPress blog he apparently was active on up to August 28.

The blog contains conspiracy theories about “elites” — including government officials, tech companies and media outlets — who he accuses of censorship.

According to CNN, an acquaintance of DePape’s said that he seemed “out of touch with reality.”

Okay You lefties commenting about the Pelosi’s and the Depape assault. Be careful here on Depape. This guys a mental case and has a history with mental issues and with the law and he’s also an illegal alien from Canada. His recent postings on line have right wing conspiracy theories, but his older stuff shows he supports Democrats, BLM, Anarchists and AntiFa.

    Few things of note:

Depape broke into the Pelosi’s house from the back door, but the front door which is predominantly displayed in the media, shows glass on the OUTSIDE of the door indicating that the glass was broken from the INSIDE.

The front door was closed and when the police arrived, it was opened by a yet to be identified person.

The police arrived within two minutes when the average response time in SF is over 15 minutes. Okay, it’s the Pelosi’s residence so they get special treatment. Animal House anyone?

This was an attack on the arguably third most powerful person in the world, Nancy Pelosi. This would have resulted in the most experienced LEOs and investigators in the country being called in on the case. So why did the FBI assign a rookie agent with only three years experience as their lead agent in charge.

Depape being an online guy with web pages would have known she was not at home. So why did he break in and shout where was Nancy?

The Pelosi’s have their own paid for security outside of their of their assigned SS agents.

The bus he lived in has multiple BLM, AntiFa and anti-American graffiti.

He’s got a long history of drug abuse.

This guy’s not exactly the profile of a hard core, right wing Republican. There are several other things that just just don’t smell right about this. So be wary that this may be a false flag. I’m sure that the SF politicos will delay any information that Depape was running a false flag to engender sympathy for Nancy until after the election. But remember, I said it first and if in the future I’m wrong I’ll admit it.

REMEMBER WHEN NONCONFORMING FACTS ON COVID WERE CONSPIRACY THEORIES…

Emily Oster proposes “a pandemic amnesty,” suggests that “we need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID”

    https://www.eugyppius.com/p/emily-oster-proposes-a-pandemic-amnesty

Emily Oster may have said a few reasonable things in the depths of her pandemic moderation, but she can take her proposal for pandemic amnesty and shove it all the way up her a**. I’m never going to forget what these villains did to me and my friends. It is just hard to put into words how infuriating it is, to read this breezy trivialization of the absolute hell we’ve been through, penned by some comfortable and clueless Ivy League mommyconomist who is ready to mouth support for basically any pandemic policy that doesn’t directly affect her or her family and then plead that the horrible behavior and policies supported by her entire social milieu are just down to ignorance about the virus. We knew everything we needed to know about SARS-2 already in February 2020. The pandemicists and their supporters crossed many bright red lines in their eradicationist zeal and ruined untold millions of lives. That doesn’t all just go away now. – eugyppius

Hey—sorry you lost your job b/c of the vax that doesn’t work and your grandmother died alone and you couldn’t have a funeral and your brother’s business was needlessly destroyed and your kids have weird heart problems—but let’s just admit we were all wrong and call a truce, eh? It’s too bad we shut the entire economy down & took on tyrannical powers that have never been used before in this country—looking back, you should have been able to go to church and use public parks while we let people riot in the streets—but it was a confusing time for everyone. Hey I’m sorry we scared the hell out of you & lied for years & persecuted & censored anyone who disagreed but there was an election going on & we really wanted to beat Donald Trump so it was important to radically politicize the science even if it destroyed your children’s lives. OK, yes we said unvaccinated people should die & not get healthcare while never questioning Big Pharma once but we are compassionate people which is why even though we shut down the entire economy we also bankrupted the nation & caused inflation. You’re welcome! Let’s be friends. – Matthew J. Peterson on Twitter

    NO LONGER CONSPIRACY THEORIES…

Let’s not declare a pandemic amnesty. Let’s declare a real pandemic inquiry.

    Michael P Senger

First, no, you don’t get to advocate policies that do extraordinary harm to others, against their wishes, then say “We didn’t know any better at the time!” Ignorance doesn’t work as an excuse when the policies involved abrogating your fellow citizens’ rights under an indefinite state of emergency, while censoring and canceling those who weren’t as ignorant. The inevitable result would be a society in which ignorance and obedience to the opinion of the mob would be the only safe position.

MORE CONSPIRACY CLAIMS FROM THE LEFTIES…Hochul made it even worse during an interview she did with Al Sharpton. She claimed fears of crime were a national “conspiracy” manufactured by “master manipulators.”

“These are master manipulators. They have this conspiracy going all across America trying to convince people in Democratic states that they’re not as safe. Well guess what? They’re also not only election deniers, they’re data deniers,” she told the show’s host, the Rev. Al Sharpton. “Safer places are the Democratic states,” she claimed.First, what she’s saying about crime is just not true.Rafael Mangual, of the Manhattan Institute, has noted that trope ignores the fact that in many of those GOP-led states, the crime stats are driven by large, Democrat-led cities, citing New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Shreveport in Louisiana and Jackson, Mississippi among his examples.

And while murders were down by 14% in New York City over the summer compared with last year, all other major crimes surged — including a 33% rise in robberies, police statistics show.

Hochul is once again spitting in the faces of the voters on one of their chief concerns, not only lying about the facts, but telling them they don’t understand those facts, that the crime they are concerned about isn’t real, that they’re just being manipulated about one of their most important concerns. Denying reality to people’s faces doesn’t exactly encourage them to vote for you.

Hochul’s interview with Al Sharpton is also a bad look for people in New York who have long memories of all the bad things that Sharpton did before he was on MSNBC, including his anti-semitic takes and involvement in inciting violence in New York.

Weren’t Democrats just decrying “conspiracy theories”? They need to talk with Hochul. Because if it was possible to sink her campaign anymore with her horrible hot takes, she just did it with this one. That may explain why Zeldin has charged into the lead.
