So if I ever have Hawaiian pizza again, does this mean I gotta use salt to make it taste better when it tastes pretty good without the salt?

Who wouldn’t like the smell of petrichor?

White noise is pretty interesting. It can “naturally” occur when an electronic device created for human audio plays chaotic signals, such as in radio static. It’s also been used more recently to reduce the noticeability of other more distracting sounds in an environment, and to treat tinnitus.

There’s actually a number of different “colours” of noise with different properties. Most people can distinguish them audibly, but explaining the fundamental differences without at least some background in acoustics. Most of them I find a bit unpleasant, but I actually like red/Brownian noise.

I never tried putting salt on pineapple, but I really like watermelon with a little salt on it.

Salt on pineapple?!? This is as logical as “Rub some dirt on it!” when a kid gets banged up in baseball.

My father-in-law is a baker and after his heart attack was told to limit his salt intake. His wife made a cake without salt and it basically was flavorless. I believe it with the pineapple. They add salt with beer hops to bring out the flavor in the beer.

No. That is not what white noise is. White noise is me trying to sing.

Take care, may rain dance documentary producer W.C. “It Happens Of It’s Own Volition Each And Every Time I Imbibe At The Avalon Strip Club I Wake Up In The Alley And It’s Raining Cats And Dogs” Fieldsord be with you, and gesundheit.

Salt affects the bitter sensing taste buds if I remember, making things taste sweeter. Works for coffee too, knocks the bitter off, making it sweeter (not sweet, just sweeter) withoout sugar.

How do we know white noise only contains frequencies we can hear?

Salt helps most savory foods – IMO. But I never understood adding salt to melons…

Petrichor is only evident early on in a rain following a dry spell. We get a lot of rain in Oregon, but petrichor, not so much.

And then there’s pink noise, which has the bass emphasized. The difference is energy per frequency vs energy per octave.

The latest season of “The Dragon Prince” indicates that earth elves fart petrichor.

I’ll pass on the salt. It’s bad for my hypertension.

I always thought that white noise is the sound you hear when you’re trying to watch the game and your spouse starts talking about anything else. Is something wrong with my set? ;-p
