Les is making a good point. Tiff should not have accused him. She should have had him and Ox together and explained that Stef couldn’t find her class ring, and was wondering if either of you possibly saw it when you helped move the boxes.

Let’s forget about Ann Eiffel and still worry about Stefani Bird here.

In all likelihood, this only the mere mention of Ann, and nothing more will come of it.

On the other hand, a lady over on Acramax suggested that Ann might manage that storage unit that Tiff had her stuff in, and Ann stole the ring. (Among other things)

Again, not likely.

Ann kept a key to the mansion after Tom broke up with her, let herself in while Tiff and Bets were away, rifled through the boxes, and took the class ring, thinking it was worth more than it is.

The heck with Evil Annie – I wanna know who Shannon’s mom is. Not the original Shannon Lewis (Lindy’s older sister), but Shannon Daytona. (They both were named Shannon and looked identical, Greg mentioned he used the character again)

The theme of missing mothers appears frequently in this ‘toon. I’ve always wondered if this might have grown from (if I’m remembering correctly) Greg and his not-yet-wife having decided to give up a child for adoption…

But Anne hates Tiff and she is estranged from Les. She be the perfect suspect.

To back up for a moment, we commented on my favorite goth: Crystal. Well, over the weekend, I saw that Cassandra Peterson, better known as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, celebrated her 71st birthday.

Well, that was a nice little detour through an episode of 7th HEAVEN.

Les is right to be offese and Tiffany is wise enough to admit her mistake and regret having suspected him♡. What surprised me the most is that she asked about Ann, but I want to know too! Was Les really able to leave her behind and is he ignoring what his “mom” is doing or is it just a facade and the thought of her haunts him? Maybe Al informs him about her every week? Will Ann go to jail and Les will have to decide whether to visit her or not? Because Ann is evil, but she’s also a fantastic character.

Like any of us care either, Les.

I was thinking just the other day about Anne making an entrance just to put Stef in her place, but there’s no reason for her to pop in to the scene, unless something to do with Les. ¯\( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)/¯

Uh, oh—I hope this isn’t a signal for the return of Ann Eiffel!!

Oh no. I mentioned AE last week as being the only character more annoying than Stef. But I didn’t say her name 3 times so hopefully she doesn’t show up.

That is really off the wall how Tiffany does a 180 and brings up Ann. Maybe she’ll show up on Toms’ arm next week.

Ah, the famous Fran Tarkenton Misdirection Play! Bringing up Ann Eiffel in the 3rd panel! I didn’t see that coming on the transition day to, Wednesday. It remains to be seen if this leads to an entry this Fall (last day of summer, sob, today) of the evil one. We should find out what happened to the ring by Saturday though. Something funny.

Yes, where did she slink off to after Tom dismissed her over that baby picture scam? And, if she’s making an appearance, where does she fit in this mess?

The foreshadowing was weeks ago when we learned that Kip knows Ox who found the ring and returned it to him.

Les probably does not know where his mom is since she left town. She deserted him like she has before and he is hurt by it but covers it with the act of not caring where she is.

Uh – Oh. Ann Eiffel mentioned. Is this arc going to get interesting?

Ann’s probably being questioned about the counterfeit merchandise she sold, IIRC.

Can we please not bring up Ann Eiffel? None of her schemes make any sense, none of the other characters do anything that makes sense when she’s there. People spend hours writing about what they think will happen and then nothing that makes sense happens and everyone is so glad when Ann leaves!

You’d think Tiffany would be the LAST person to inquire about Awful Annie!

Leslie is a very caring person. He just hides it amazingly well.

To begin with- there’s no evidence whatsoever that there’s a thief. It’s probably mislaid by the ditz herself.

Despite his past, I rather hope Les is NOT the culprit here.

A thought occurred to me today after re-reading my comment yesterday calling Stefani a “birdbrain”, and Brdshtt’s funny comment that at least it isn’t a “Brd” brain. For those who may not remember, or may not have seen the arc where Stefani is introduced, her last name is “Bird”. So I’m not just making fun of her brain; I’m commenting on her last name, too. (With apologies to anyone in real life whose last name might be “Bird”).

Kip took the ring back to have a diamond placed. The arc will end with him proposing

This is a bit interesting; a nervous segue following an embarrassing conversation leads to an innocent off hand remark …. and lots of folks are jumping to conclusions about the return of the evil one. I don’t think it’s going to happen.

It’s amazing how much Tiffany has changed. She actually apologizes when most people would’ve made the same accusation. “Hmmm…what shady person has been near where the stolen item is?”
