… the movie, The Walk, was about a man walking a tight wire between the World Trade Center towers…

…when the man was learning his craft, his mentor told him…

…to be sure to walk the last six feet…

…the urge is to see how close you are to the end and forget to be careful those last few steps…

    …the mentor continued…

…that is when most accidents occur…

…in the military that is called, being short…

…it is a lesson that has stayed with me…

    …so as my Grandfather…

…and, thus my Mom, used to say…

    …take your time…

    …but hurry up about it…

“On many long journeys have I gone. And waited, too,

for others to return from journeys of their own.

Some return; some are broken; some come back so different only their names remain.”

I thought you said “I am with Harry,” and this was an emergency trip to the hair saloon. Hopefully you are on the way to your ESL class.

Yeah it’s hurry up and wait

In this world of give and take

Seems like haste makes for waste every time

    I declare to my soul

When you hear those ages roll

You better know I’m gonna get my share of mine

GoComics just updated/expanded my ABOUT area on this page. (Thank you, Mia.)

    https://www.gocomics.com/frogapplause/about

While it’s heart-emoji exciting to have someone famous openly admit to loving “Frog Applause”, I still love all of my long-time and new readers to surveillance-pickle bits. Some of you have even offered to take a bullet for me—in the elbow or earlobe. Now, that’s love.

Who among you is familiar with the “Outlander” TV series? Feel free to say HELLO to Diana here. I promise, she will see your comment.

Can this be The Return of Vlad? Stay tuned for further semi-English exclamations!

    Hope Springs Eternal!

[EDITORIAL NOTE: I cannot make the Comment post in the indented-line spaced-double indented way I tried. So I’ve settled for a single-line finale. No room for complex poetic constructions in this comment box’s coding….]
