REAL kids (not fetal cells and actually look like the kids in the cartoon above ) who were killed by gun violence will be asking “ is it true that fetal cells have more more rights than us ? “

We are watching the Taliban-ification of America. Like the Taliban’s misinterpretation of Islam, so too is the misinterpretation of the five SCOTUS justices of Catholic teaching. These justices are pro-birth, not pro-life. In 2004, in an interview with Bill Moyers, Sr. Joan Chittister explained the difference. “I do not believe that just because you are opposed to abortion, that that makes you pro-life. In fact, I think in many cases, your morality is deeply lacking if all you want is a child born but not a child fed, a child educated, a child housed. … That’s not pro-life. That’s pro-birth. We need a much broader conversation on what the morality of pro-life is.” In a later interview Sr. Joan says, “I frankly cannot understand why women’s health issues or abortion is absolutely the only life issue that the church has not nuanced. … We nuance that men can kill for all sorts of reasons. Men can kill to defend themselves. They can kill to defend the state. They can punish by killing in the name of the state. But women, never — not even to save their own pregnant life. It seems to me to be morally confused. Certainly, it’s morally inconsistent."

“Pro-Life” where you force the woman to carry a fetus, yet deny her funding for access to prenatal care, checkups, nutrition, or even help pay for hospital costs for delivery. After you force her to give birth to a child she didn’t want or couldn’t take care of in the first place, you then abandon her (as if you ever supported her in the first place), and cut funding for food, housing, education and tell her that the child is her responsibility and if she doesn’t raise it “right” she will be put in jail.

“Pro-Life” indeed. You don’t give a crap about the mother, and none really for the child.

Pro-Lifers pretend to care about unborn fetuses then want nothing to do with them or their mothers once they’re born. Who the hell is the Supreme Court to tell a woman what to do with her body? Or any politician? Pro-Lifers are frauds.

Cartoon Jesus above says, “Yes, right now, you’re all in Heaven with me. But when abortion is outlawed, you’ll all be born in sin, then die, and I get to throw half of you into Hell.”

And this is a GOOD thing.

I don’t think that’s Jeshua, who was from the middle-east and therefore would not have had long straight hair or been that light skinned. Maybe Greg Allman, though. Or Bret Michaels. (He knows what it’s like…)

Listen all, if you think these fetuses aren’t real children, look up what they look like after being aborted at 9, 15 & 20 weeks. Careful the pictures are very disturbing.

And the President (cough) just made an official WH comment against the SCOTUS draft and his statement included “…aborting a ‘CHILD’ .” It was a clear admission of what we know as true. We’ll have to see how they try to walk that back.

Hey everybody, why don’t you just use birth control! It really is that simple. Abortion should never be used as a form of birth control. Pro Choice: Make the choice BEFORE you make the baby!

Once again: The point of banning abortions is NOT to reduce their number. Contraceptives, sex education, access to health care and other efforts, would accomplish that.

    That is NOT the objective.

The objective is to PUNISH SINNERS, women sinners, and especially poor women sinners. (of course, being poor shows that they are not in God’s graces and are therefore sinners anyway)

“The unborn” are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. It’s almost as if, by being born, they have died to you. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus but actually dislike people who breathe.

Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.

The vast majority of aborted fetuses don’t look like the imaginary heavenly babies in Ramirez’s absurdly idealized cartoon. Many are still embryos. It’s perhaps understandable that “pro-life” people (pro-birth, actually; many are pro-gun and pro-death penalty, as well) want to portray them as such, as it helps reinforce their beliefs. But there is NOTHING in the Bible about abortion, one way or the other; the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) has for centuries been interpreted by rabbis to mean that a baby is not fully human (in the sense of equal importance to the mother) until the head emerges from the womb — before that, the mother’s health is considered more important than that of the fetus. Catholics, for obscure and arbitrary reasons, have been taught the opposite, and that the soul forms at conception, without any biological evidence at all.

Hey, Mike, exactly how many unwanted babies have you adopted??? And if I may quote Dennis Miller (before he used 9/11 as a convenient avenue to turn conservative and beef up his flagging comedy career), when it comes to abortion, ONE DICK = NO VOTE. PERIOD.

Wait, so they are all in heaven with Jesus? One of them enters a zygote at inception and then returns to heaven when an abortion happens? Shouldn’t the true believers be elated that the precious pure souls are never tainted by sin just by being born?

ProLIFE is wrong, they are properly ProBIRTH, because they don’t support well women and well baby care, education, jobs, foster and adoption programs…they don’t care AFTER BIRTH.

PS Micheal…when are you going to show all the people killed by guns up in heaven?
