The part where Covid is NOT over, of course. Too bad. So sad. Live (or die) with it. Probably not “die” though, just get sick… maybe for the rest of your life.

In less than two months, daily deaths have dropped from 2,700 to 300. Other stats, unreliable as they are, are even more dramatically reduced. It may be that the pandemic really is over, replaced by COVID becoming endemic. Or this may just be the pause before the next tornado.
Covid testing for cruises will still be around for a while, and vaccination for cruises may be around forever. Thank God they have gotten rid of the masks on the ships. We will see if more foreign ports open soon. In January we were not allowed into Grand Cayman, or Cartagena. Did get to see Panama, Costa Rica and the Bahamas though.
This morning, I went to a medical facility where they require everyone to wear masks, and it was very comforting. However, Gov. Abbott says retail stores can’t require masks, and they will get criminally charged if they do. In the meantime, people are still getting it, and many are still dying from it.

You’re not supposed to do testing. Never were.

People are still getting infected and dying. And survivors are still battling the effects.

And for gawds sake, if it shows positive keep it to yourself. But you were probably going to do that anyway.
