And when she was confirmed, a number of republicans walked out in a snit. Three republicans voted to confirm her, so the party will probably marginalize them and chase them out.
The struggle to have Jackson confirmed was both a triumph and a disgrace. Republicans once again exhibited their childish petulance in opposing anything and anyone who might dilute their right-wing social agenda. The Supreme Court has thus become just another political sandbox where kids throw toys at each other.
I am glad she was confirmed BUT I do look forward to the day which frees us of using terms at all, black, white, what religion, what politics, what sexual preferences….just a name is fine, that would be equality if we can quit quit qualifying and checking boxes…if I hear a another person is “the first trans” whatever I think I will just puke, I am an avowed heterosexual, you care?, hell no.
As soon as I saw 3 Republicans had voted for her, I immediately checked on who they were, thinking I knew who at least two of them were. I was right, Murkowski and Collins! I would vote for either of those two, joyously for Murkowski, the person who kicked Palin’s political teeth in…though it seems Palin has had some dental work done, and is trying again.
I see Rickety Tickety Taffy has been into the mushrooms again… thinking that right-wingnut websites are “Legitimate” sources of information. He/She/It’s almost as goofy as Oops-speculum…
They (Collins, Murkowski and Romney) are already derided as RINO because they do not worship he who shall not be named, aren’t QANON and still believe in the old ways of financial conservationism and doing what is best for the country.
I wonder if anyone woke up Justice Thomas to let him know? It’s rumored he has a habit of sleeping on the bench through oral arguments before the court. The confirmation hearings of Ms. Brown Jackson must have put him into a coma. /s
I watched some of the hearings and I though Jackson showed that she is very smart and that she can put up with a lot of idiocy without losing her temper.

Republicans are still worried about the possibility of her being soft on pedophiles.
They are worried that she would go too easy on Matt Gaetz if and when his case came before the SCOTUS.

On the other hand, with the GOP justices, it doesn’t matter how she or the others vote!
Majority rules…..thanks to the “Packing of every court” imaginable when sir lies a lot was the fake prez! And the GOP are crying about one judge.

The GQP is so upset because KBJ isn’t a drunk, handmaiden, white, male or appointed by their hero’s Rump and Moscow Mitch.
