People take about 0.1 seconds to form their first impression.

A girl once got a crush on me because she thought I had black hair. I told her to get a closer look and she saw that it was brown. She never spoke to me again.

Her cynicism works fine.

cynicism is your only defence sometimes.

Val just needs to run a brush through her hair, otherwise she is dressed respectably. I actually saw a woman walk into a fast-food restaurant with messy uncombed hair and wearing pajamas with a jacket over them. Enough to make you lose your appetite.

My mother is the same. You look,nice but what about your hair? My hair has been an obsession since I was a kid. I am now 58 and still hear about it.

Stick with on-line dating. You can always post whatever you want…

Red hair sometimes does whatever it wants to.

And make sure you have nice clean underwear too, because you might get into an accident.

The single men in her age bracket are not any better. Probably divorced, poor and have the kids on weekends.

That’s more appropriately termed sarcasm, not cynicism.

Actually messy hair seems to be the style now!! And it’s even better if it’s really curly and messy or frizzy! I remember setting my hair very night for the next day!!… and rainy days got me so depressed!

My girlfriend was all of that. And it didn’t deter me.
