@Eldo , Today’s strip IS funny but a variation of a theme ,being on the same soccer pitch as our Hero Mr Andrew Capp is hazardous to your health :o) my avatar is a spoof about the life expectancy of different animals , which one would you rather be? ,how was your day? our Thursday should be busy as usual but we will cope I hope we both are in a good mood and after our bulk shopping is done we no more errands to run just stay inside the house keep hydrated and wait till the greengrocer van comes up our street keep safe and catch you later pal.

So, you’ve been in there, vicar. Most don’t practise what they preach.

Must be early in the game. Andy is still functional.

What does “being on the same pitch” mean?

    Were they both singing??

BTW, aren’t Flo and Ruby risking injury by standing on the soccer field?

I’m continually amazed at our drunken layabout’s energy and perseverance in these games… perhaps the local employment agencies should attend a match, take a photo or three, and present it all to him as evidence of his qualifications for gainful employment.

What Andy lacks in skill on the pitch, he makes up for in vicious play.

On this side of the pond Andy wouldn’t have a chance against these guys!

He didn’t make this list, but Green Bay’s Gilbert Brown is 340 lbs (154 kg.).

Facing off against Andy on the pitch is like facing off against a freight train.
