Well, it’s Groundhog Day… again…

Going to do my annual rewatch of the movie today.

Makes you wonder just how many times he repeated to get where he could play the piano. The down side he bought all that insurance. This has become an annual favorite for us.

In the movie it snowed on Feb 3rd…

I Got You Babe

My guy and I celebrate Groundhog Day as our romantic holiday instead of Valentine’s Day. It’s a long story—goes back to 1960—but we like it.

I thought that the smile on Arlo’s face was because something that happened near the end of the movie might have happened to him last night

Janis looks very “happy” and perhaps wants to celebrate but Arlo misses his cue. Janis looks surprised in panel 2 as he ignores her “Good Morning” and looks outside.

Interesting. No one has mentioned yet that Arlo and Janis appear to have a reason for being so cheery when they wake up.

C’mon, guys. Get with it. Y’all are slipping.

The news is in: the groundhog didn’t see its shadow, so it stayed out. Granny shot the booger so dinner is at five.

Janis woke up in a cheerful mood, while Arlo misses a golden opportunity!

Punxsutawney Phil called in sick!

The movie wouldn’t have had snow on the ground until February 3 when he woke up though.

……..and so, it’s back to bed for another 40 winks…

Must have been a good night……

If my wife had said Good Morning with a look like Janis gives, no way I would have gotten out of bed.

It’s beginning to feel like Groundhog Year.

And there’s no Sonny & Cher playing on the radio…

It’s snowing here now. I only see Canada geese and squirrels, no groundhogs.

In the movie, it snowed the day after GD.

Well, it’s snowing here in southeast Michigan!

Actually, they woke up to snow on February 3rd…

It snowed here over night. Not too much, but the grass is covered again.

Wait, that looks like a second floor window. Never noticed an upstairs/downstairs concept before.

Well, its Groundhog day, again…

S’Ok, Arlow. Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks. So head on back to that burrow.

Here in the Dallas area, it’s supposed to snow tomorrow, just like the movie. Can’t wait! I’m going to play “I Got You, Babe”.

It snowed here, too.

The morning snow didn’t appear until the day after groundhog day. That is how he knew the ordeal was over.
