Varvel, you’re a p#ssy, to quote your hero. My dad developed a metabolic disorder in his early sixties, and required monthly vitamin “boosters” every month for the rest of his life. He made it into his nineties. In his late seventies, he was put on insulin, needing four or five shots per day. And he complained less about all that than you’ve bitched about three or four shots in a year. Grow a pair.
We wouldn’t need any sort of boosters had Francis Collins, Tony Fauci, Ralph Baric and Peter Daszak not funded their gain of function research garbage with their Commie Chinese buddies. This is what happens when certain fools like Tony Fauci decide to play god and end up disrupting the lives of 8 billion people. They should be stripped of their titles as “Doctors” and be sent to jail where they belong.
Some people need to grow a pair , for 3+ years I,had to give my wife a injection every day for a clinical trial, never a peep from her even when I would hit a sensitive spot !
Covid has joined the menagerie of things that are out there, and can be caught, and may, for the unfortunate and vulnerable, be fatal. There have always been diseases that infect humans. Do what you can to protect yourself and others, and get on with living your life.
If everyone had gotten the vaccine the spread of the variants would be much less. Anyone who has not been vaccinated should go to the end of the line for treatment
The more the Corona Virus reproduces, by infecting people, the more it produces variants. So, yeah, there could be dozens of variants, similar to the Flu Virus.
Take heart. There are more people fully vaccinated and/or boosted than not. It’s just that the ones who continue to pitch a hissy over “the vax” that get all the attention. I got my first two doses last March and my booster before Thanksgiving. If I have to get a booster each year or every 6 months or so, I have no problem with that. It’s people like you, Gary, who are making it more complicated than it has to be.
Good news from Walter Reed – they are beginning human trials on a universal coronavirus vaccine: MERS, SARS1, SARS2, COVID-19 all variants, and many cold viruses.
This is insane. The existence of virus mutations is directly caused by the unvaccinated. They give it platform to spread and mutate. And if it takes two dozen shots (and it doesn’t) to keep from dying from it, fine. Sign me up.
So what? Really, who cares? We do annual flu shot – well, those of us with a working brain do – so why should a highly mutable coronavirus be different? Honestly, I’d do a hundred shots if it meant life would return to normal. Are all you right wingers so deathly scared of needles that that’s a deal breaker for you, or are you just selfish?
I get my flu shot every year (usually in late Sept./early Oct.), even though I’ve been masking up in indoor public spaces because of Covid. I would have no problem with getting a booster either once a year or twice a year. Hopefully many of the remaining hesitant will be pushed to get the vax if they see their unvaxxed friends and family members getting sick. That’s what we saw when Delta started spreading in the mid-summer or so. Over 55 million former hesitants joined the ranks of the vaxxed. Whatever works, I guess.

I suppose Varvel thinks that it’s a horrible thing that people get a flu shot every year.

Flagged for disinformation. Varvel should have his cartoon license revoked.

So, pretty much like flu shots then? And this is a problem for people, WHY?
Oh, right. Only a problem for those who hate the current administration. Or/and are members of the GQP death cult.

Hey, Pervel. Maybe if you hadn’t spent the last two years fellating trump, it wouldn’t be like this.

Well, since the anti-vaxers insist on keeping this thing in circulation, we all may need regular booster shots to keep them from killing us.

And yet, even after all that, you can still get Covid.

Mr. Varvel, please consider using the correct verb for plural nouns. In this strip, “There are three boosters?”

We get flu shots every year. How many boosters is that?

The vaccine was developed under Trump, while Biden/Harris were telling people not to trust it.

I’m perfectly content getting a booster every 6 months for the rest of my life. Takes a drama queen to make a fuss about a little needle.

I got my booster. If I need another next year, so be it. Sure beats being on a ventilator and/or dying.
