When I was in Albany years ago I thought the architecture of some of the government buildings was a metaphor for state government:
The Empire State Plaza: gaudy, overblown, and cost way more than it ought to
The Education Department building (which appears to have the dimensions of a cereal box tipped over on its narrow side): impressive facade with no real depth
The State Capitol: dark and downright byzantine when it comes to trying to navigate it
Let’s see. Last week’s top story was about Tom Brady. Oh, yeah, they managed to sprinkle in a couple of seconds here and there between the commercials about a mid-air collision, a school shooting and something about a thing called COVID.
The Turd Reich Trolls are dredging up tired lies and hate to distract from the fact that Rumpy the Clown lost and that even his bogus claims of a stolen election and demands of recounts have all shown that… he lost. Gasp! Who knew!?!?
But the real fun is the amount of shiznit they have to eat after some of the recounts proved he lost by any even bigger margins.
Of course it’s all just part of the Turd Reich Big Lie disinformation campaign. It’s verbatim (if not plagiarized) from the propaganda of Adolf Hitler & Josef Goebbels. The Turd Reich is trying (and failing) to make Americans believe the election process is unfair, unless the Turd Reich meddles with restrictive voting laws and gerrymandering. By their logic you should only trust the dealer who’s dealing from the bottom of the deck. But then they are getting their ideas from a guy who managed to bankrupt casinos by running them so poorly, so what does that say about those dipsticks, hmm?
Government and culture should always be separate. Do we want people who tell us what to do to be the directors of our culture, or people who create art to be our protectors? Not I.

One thing we can all agree on, things are more they way they are now, than they have ever been!

Still reminds me of the 60’s. A lot more acid though.

Not only our Capital city, but the entire political belief system is questionable.
