My wife keeps the side pockets in the car doors stuffed with them.

Might as well take them. Once they are on the table, if you don’t use them they get thrown in the trash anyway (public health rules).

My father does the same thing whenever stopping at McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, wherever… you’ll never know when you might need a little extra.

Of course this points out the old plugger rule of “waste not, want not”.

I save them primarily because of that great motto:Waste not, want not!

Never hurts to have a little extra hanging around .

Or sugar packets, salt packets, ketchup packets,etc.

my mom used to cut open and pour ketchup packets in to the bottle….poor ole girl would’ve been 93 today….

We don’t exactly save them, we just put them in the napkin holder to use.

One might scoff, but we’ve purchased napkins once in 11 years.

and straws and plastic tableware and . . .

They DO come in handy in the car all the time!

Waste not, want not

I use the unbleached ones to sprout my seeds. :-}

A local sandwich shoppe gives out about 10 napkins with every sandwich they deliver. We have enough to last years.

We definitely keep all our napkins (and ask for more). In the car, in the house, in my backpack, etc.

how about ketchup packets?

I keep them in my purse for when I have to blow my nose. If you have a cold they’re much more substantial than Kleenex.

That’s another thing I don’t have to buy.

Yes, i have a bunch in the car.

I use to keep them in the pickup, for when the kids rode with me.

That or you have a runny nose!!!

Oh course – why pay for napkins if one can get them free. And since the pandemic started all paper napkins – from Wendys (where we used to eat lunch daily) or the supermarket purchased ones – have to be cut in half and the half one has for use has to be reused until it falls apart or is REALLY too disgusting to keep using.
