You have to love the special effects in A Snoopy Production!

Notice that there was no serpent puppet for the story of Adam and Eve.

A puppet show of the entire Old Testament, properly done, would take months to perform, 24/7.

At least Snoopy didn’t show the story of Lot and the destruction of Sodom and what happen to Lot’s wife. That would have salted Lucy down, I would think.

That “red sea” seems to be white but I’m pretty sure Lucy will “see red” in a jiffy

Lucy’s biblical lesson of the day: “You reap what you sew.”

That would be a great show, but really long.

In the optional “throw-away” second panel we see that this is really Act III. It would be interesting to see how Snoopy would have re-enacted earlier events like the Tower of Babel or the Great Flood.

The puppeteer is not only deft in performance, he is a able to give a true actual feel of the incidents.

I still think Snoopy should have done Noah’s ark. He’s an animal, it would appeal to him. Just makes sense. He could still dump the water on Lucy’s head. Maybe use the hose for 40 days and 40 nights.

She needs to duck when Snoopy comes to David and Goliath.
