Nothing really, just go hand wash the car. That almost guarantees rain.

I remember when people hung clothes outside on washday. It would rain.

Janis, if you want it to rain, all you have to do is wash your car. Or better yet, mow your lawn.

If you want to make it rain, just do a dance. Down at the gentlemen’s club.

My secret trick to cause rain is ‘accidentally’ leaving the car sunroof open!

Run upstairs and towel off, Janis. You two can get past this.

Why use a watering can? Use the hose and save the lifting for something else.

Two days of rain (real rain, not drizzle) over the weekend. Finally got the fridge and freezer in the garage cleaned.

My early morning dog walk had a nice dry start, but we came home soaked to the bones. Thunderstorms hit just as we were at our farthest from home. I dressed for it, don’t really mind the rain or the thunderstorms any more. We walk in everything, I only mind black ice.

I worked at home for several years, except I went into the office one day a week on Thursdays. Regardless of the weather the rest of the week, or the forecast, the bottom of the sky would fall out every Thursday at 8am, and again at 5pm. Record traffic jams and road closures were also strictly reserved for only these time periods.

My family broke a five year drought by putting a new roof on our house. We had so much rain we thought the yard would turn into a pond by the time we got the last of the shingles on.

I’ve long had the idea of hiring my wife out to plan picnics in drought-stricken areas. She doesn’t even have to be present. Once when we were engaged I had occasion to spend a week with her folks while she was working, and she suggested we go out to the dam a picnic. Drownpour started as soon as my future m-i-l had the burgers seared.
