Because they’re not dumb enough to want to be apart from Europe.

The SNP didn’t quite get a majority of the seats (missed by one). But they’re clearly the wave of the future. And then, yeah, I expect they’ll spend a little time getting organized and then petition to join the EU.

Note that those missing legs are scattered about and labeled. Adds to the clarity of Danziger’s comment.

“Scoxit” is poetic justice for BOJO “widdle Drump” and his goons.

In 2014, Swine Fornicator Cameron bludgeoned Scotland saying that if they left that union, he would block them getting into the EU. Now, Boris Badenov really has nothing but political bullying to try and prevent a new referendum by threatening to take Scotland to court.

Because a few whitebread wankers like Jacob Grease-Bogg didn’t want to have to declare publicly all of their off shore wealth, they made a huge mess. Brexit will never be over. It’s only just beginning….

Not every nation is afraid of the future and trying to hide in a nationalist past that no longer makes sense.

Scotland has been doing this “break away” since the Scots were Celtic.

This is my fear: the Scots may be as given to sectarianism as the Northern Irish, as my late father & uncles could attest. The Catholic Scots are anxious about what independence may mean for them.

That said, i flew the Saltire flag this week. The Scots are ready to tell Boris & his minions to bugger off.

Does Scotland have enough resources to be independent? Can they support themselves in the manner to which they are accustomed?

In 2014 I thought the Scots were right to vote to stay in the UK, but BoJo & Brexit showed I was wrong.

The Scottish National Party won its fourth straight elections on Thursday, May 6, securing 64 of the 129 seats in the Edinburgh-based Scottish Parliament. The recently concluded elections thus extend the party’s dominance of Scottish politics since it first came to power in 2007.

While Scotland voted, several smaller by-elections took place across Britain, which resulted in the Labour Party’s victory in the Welsh Parliamentary election. However, the biggest implications in the election were that it could pave way for the break-up of the United Kingdom.

SNP wins third straight term since 2007

Although the Scottish National Party (SNP) won only 64 seats and failed to get the magic number it would need to hold a majority as Scotland allocates some by a form of proportional representation. The SNP may have fallen short but it will still be able to govern for the next five years with the eight members of the Scottish Greens party who also back the notion of Scotland’s independence.

SNP leader and Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, said her immediate priority would be steering Scotland through the coronavirus pandemic and that the legitimacy of an independence referendum remains SNP majority or not.

Scotland’s First Minister is the leader of the Scottish Government and keeper of the Great Seal of Scotland who also chairs the Cabinet and is primarily responsible for the formulation, development and presentation of Scottish Government policy under the UK Parliament.
