GARFIELD is it REALLY 43 years ago that you slowwalked into our lifes? Hardly to belief but doesn’t time fly if you’re having fun?…So many dreary mondays, all the forwarding charges for sending Nermal to Abu Dhabi, the sheer amount of Lasagna eaten alive and spiders swatted adeath…PHEW! It takes more then just 9 lifes to portray how much that means to me. Keep on garfielding for at least another 43 years. Happy you-know-what-and-shouldn’t-be-named!
I want to say it was back in 84 my dad found that he could get me out of bed by throwing open the door and yelling “HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIRTHDAY BOY!” This worked twice maybe three times before I wised up.

This is the simple answer of why Garfield doesn’t age in cat years, but, he actually does! Every 15 years Garfield loses one of his nine lives, which means that Garfield will live until 135 he may have lost a couple of lives in the other years by certain occasion, but guess what, even by comic standards this makes sense.
