Things are always changing (that IS part of living), and all presidents come into office facing existing problems, but, not only did Trump take actions to make Biden’s first months worse than most have faced, but his refusal to work with Biden’s transition team meant that Biden started with much less information than he should have had. Unlike the cooperation Obama and Biden gave him.
Quite a picture of Trump’s legacy and his criminally negligent leadership. Wish we could prosecute him for the 500,000 deaths he could have prevented. We got Chauvin for only one…
With our Congress still paralyzed by deep partisanship, how many MORE presidents will be facing these same issues?
Collaboration, consensus, cooperation, and compromise toward common goals are what make a nation’s political system great NOT an obstructionist winner-take-all philosophy which serves only ≈ 30% of the electorate through a so-called “major” party (that then serves the party rather than the people).
Aside from the Pandemic, all these issues have been plaguing our country for decades. It’s nothing new, but why? Why can’t government take care of at least one of these issues? The way to eat an elephant is to take one bite at a time. Pick an issue and chew guys.
No one, Biden least of all, expected that all problems would disappear simply because the most aggressively incompetent president in American history reluctantly shuffled off into exile. Biden’s approval ratings are app. 10% above Trump’s, showing that the majority of people see improvement.
A certain progressive cartoonist on this site is upset because Biden hasn’t fixed everything yet. Heck, he’s had 3 whole months so far, what an incompetent. /S
So, let’s see… Agolf Twitler, the Wanna-be Dictator, TOTALLY nuked the country over his 4 year reign of error, but the reich-wingnuts are whining that President Biden hasn’t been able to undo ALL of the ongoing disasters in 100 days??? Yeah, that sounds just about right…
Which is why I was so happy with his choice of VP and his decision to put her in charge of the border mess. It has to improve from what it is now by the time Biden keels over. Then Harris can take over with a solid record behind her for her 2024 run.
Biden knows what house holders and home caring mothers learn the hard way. The house cleaning and maintence chores never ever end, and the need for good support teams is an absolute must. Biden is weeding out the scum artists, oops….heh heh…I mean the scam artists who target the easily gulled out of their hard earned money….like all the grifters who have their hands in our pockets…led by the other grifter guy, the one who believes he can inherit genius IQ from an uncle.
Robert, I should have added to my post that I am a Moderate and don’t always agree with you, but I believe that you are an honest man with integrity and I respect your viewpoint, even when it differs from mine. Please keep up the good work.

Better to have him keeping house than have the last guy continue to rob it and set it on fire when he’s done.

And yet he’s qualified and up to the task, unlike the Previous Occupant, who left much of that mess for him to clean up.

I have no idea what Ariail is trying to say in this cartoon, but consider how his next-door neighbor DJT handled – or did not handle – all this,.

This could have been subtitled ‘Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner’ with unrest, violent protests, etc. lined up to come into the house.
