There’s that word – happy – again. Now Weird Al’s “Tacky” is back in my head.

My Grandmother planted some in her flower garden, always knew where the cat was, protecting his stash in a mellow sort of way.

So he tried it, thought he was going to die, he took 2 Alka-Seltzer.

I tried it once, but I didn’t inhale.

A trip on the ’nip.

I prefer my cat nap to catnip

We had a cat that would roll around in it and get really high. About a week later, he would roam the house hollering for more catnip. A real junkie. I tried to get him into a 12-step program, but couldn’t find any that would take cats.

Spooky had a plastic catnip ball that he could play with it whenever he wanted. When it was time for a refill he would bat it into the kitchen near the sink.

We had a cat, gave her a catnip ball- she ignored it.

Our local health foods store carried catnip, so I made little catnip mice out of felt or fleece for friends with cats. I discovered, about halfway through, that I am allergic to catnip. Many folks are allergic to cats, but I have to be allergic to catNIP. Go figure!

I assume this is medicinal catnip.

Is his name Mikey?
