In my father’s nursing home, women outnumbered men by 10 to 1. Any man who was mobile and of sound mind were highly pursued. If they had money, it could get interesting.
Eleven years ago I had a hip replaced and back surgery. Five and 6 years ago 1/3rd of colon removed and shoulder reattached. Last year the other hip replaced and back surgery. All of which run in the family. When I am reincarnated, I will do a better job of picking my parents with much better genes. At least I know what to look out for, what not to worry about, surgery methods in the last 11 years have greatly improved and two orthopedic surgeons(same as 11 years ago) who are among the best in the country. So am counting my blessings and feel better than I have in a long time.
At 74, the only parts of me that aren’t original are teeth, and I still have all my other original components except hair. By 96, who knows? (If I even live that long)
