In regard to the fourth panel: In what circumstance is the term “murder” used instead of “assassinate”? Has the the latter word lost its impact through overuse? To me, the multiple esses present an appropriate onomatopoeic reference to the hiss of a deadly snake.
I fear for America’s sanity with so many distrusting reality and believing in conspiracy theories that have no merit whatsoever. We are all in danger, not just the president-elect.
Lard-butt will either be on a Plane to Moscow to report to his boss, or on the back nine at Mar-A-Lardo at noon on Jan. 20,… AND GOOD RIDDANCE TO HIM!!!
Trump stopped being president the day he lost. I don’t mean legally, I mean that he just stopped doing the job. At any rate, why would you invite the guy who trashed your last party to your next one?
Johnson and Grant make a point here that I thought of the other day when a commentator said only three previous presidents were absent at their successors’ inaugurations. I said to myself, “You aren’t counting the ones who died in office.” W.H. Harrison, Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, F.D. Roosevelt, and J.F. Kennedy were all no-shows when their successors took the Oath of Office.
Trump — and His Disciples — are fomenting violence in D.C. in order to prevent the inauguration of Biden. Since Trump expects violence, he wants to be nowhere near it.
After noon, he will still have SS protection, but will not be allowed in the bunker. Knowing there is even a remote chance that he could be harmed, or even threatened, he wants to be a safe distance away.

With so many embolden right-wing proud boys still lurking around D.C., I do fear for Biden’s and Harris’s safety.

Lincoln was such a loser. I prefer presidents who don’t get shot.

POStUS not attending the inauguration is a signal to his MAGATS that he will be safe from their attack.

The real question is whether Sean Spicer will be there, and how many people he will think he saw………

Let’s hope this remains the most important question before the swearing in of the next president.

It’s good to see 2PO back on an almost-daily basis. I love the caricatures.

He is still a danger to the union as long as he has a pen and paper.
