It not exactly a drug war — yet — but who knows what Pouch will do next. Dollar Bill seems to be the first casualty in a bit. The last story didn’t really have any dead confirmed.

Sigh, team Tracy have run out of original ideas!

A drug war of one, and he has been taken out. I like how dead DB got all the way down to the wharf. It must have taken all of his remaining dying strength to drag himself there. Can they lift fingerprints off a neck ?

So…shouldn’t that tell them something that he didn’t get rolled for the drugs?

Aquarius will go off his nut when he finds out, as reported by Wendy on the six-o-clock. It will somehow be Tracy’s fault that drug activity is back in town.

Sam’s on the right track….in drug wars things usually get solved by one side throwing more hot lead than their opponents.

I am puzzled by the reversed lettering on the glass of the door in panel one. The second and third words are likely ‘crimes unit’, but what is the first word “?a?or” that first word has a non-reversed “L”.

A Dick Tracy/Superfly crossover would really be something. “Dollar Bill’s dead. That’s what I said.”

It’s been snowing for the past two weeks in Tracy-ville! There must be at least two feet of snow on the ground by now!

Since this story is about addiction, isn’t it time the MCU team confronted Sam about his serious toothpick jones? Gonna wreck your teeth, guy….

Uggg!, another death. Why do I follow this comic?!!! The writers develop a good character and then kill them off. Dick Tracy needs a Batman Arkham Asylum, at least some of them can be brought back without too much “Where did they go,” I am still sore about Yeti’s death.

1-SAM: Here’s today’s National Security Briefing.

2-DT: I always like reading these. Kind of makes crimes like the dead sandal guy seem small in comparison. Oh look. North Korea is expected to fire nuclear armed missiles at us any moment…

3-…but speaking of dead sandal guy, whadya got on that?

SAM: Looks like he died of natural causes to me – natural for a drug dealer anyway.

DT: Good work, Sam! Oh look – Putin is suspected of poisoning another would-be rival. HA! You wouldn’t ever think of angling for my job, would you Sam?

Because it might not be healthy…

The Police Department learns about dead people found in the wharf by the newspaper. Not exactly an efficient force.

Drug war? Nah. Just some local citizens, doing your job for you.

Fingerprints can be left on skin, and obviously moved from the scene of the crime

Well, we can eliminate one group of suspects. The victim wasn’t killed by a kitchen implement. That would, of course, have led to a tongs war.

Sam’s insight could be valuable, if Tracy will pay attention to it. This is not just an ordinary drug-turf war breaking out….

It seems as though an “Aquarius vs. Pouch” battle could be looming….

I’m surprised these recent sequences got by the censors.
