As long as it has a functioning radio. My problem would be trying to figure out what the radio looks like and does it function the way I’m used to.

My car has a USB port. Plug a phone in to charge and it turns the radio on.

My old car is simple. My wife’s modern car has a screen ‘entertainment’ console which I believe is a disguised casino slot machine. I page though countless menus but always lose.

I got a hard drive and I can put whatever I want on it. Great idea.

We lived through the CD in the car age. 30 years ago they became available, and now they’re not. I’m much happier with CarPlay & Internet, and never use the radio.

Had a friend who had an old Impala convertible that had a 45 rpm record player mounted under the dash. You put the record in a slot like a CD player.

I found an original Sony Discman configured for auto use, and it plugs in and works just fine.

I’ve heard you can order an ash tray that will fit in the cup holder.

Mine still has a Marty Robbins CD in it. Every so often I remember and it’s off to Rosa’s Cantina…

When I got my first new car in 99 I got a demo model that had a cassette tape and CD player. The cassette was so I could get an adapter to hook it up to my Creative Labs RIO MP3 player. My next new car I got in 2017 had neither of those things. But it had USB ports and an AUX port. It feels like I skipped a generation.

I bought a used car with a sophisticated stereo. I use my brother’s theory of, if you push buttons long enough, you’ll get what you are looking for. Don’t try this while driving.

I digitized all of my music into Mp3s and play those in my 2013 Accord’s CD player. My wife’s music is on a flash drive. So, as long as I have one or the other I will be fine.

I don’t own an IPhone, but I will get one just to play music in the car if it comes to that.

I am not a fan of radio. I want to listen to MY music, not what a station or service thinks are the most popular.

Still comes with an AM/FM radio tuner standard though. I don’t know how AM radio is still a thing.

Back before I got my previous car, an ’11 Fit, a was browsing alternatives. One was the GM Sonic/other similar. It had no CD player (I have a lot of CDs), expecting you I guess to buy a subscription service. I was happy with the Fit, but far more so with the ’16 Fit following an accident. This one has the radio, CD and a USB plug I transferred a whole whack of music, comedy and spoken word to

My new, 2020 Subaru Forester, purchased a little less than three months ago, is equipped with multiple USB ports, a trial of Sirius XM radio, blue tooth, and so on — and (to the delight of my wife and myself, who have a lot of CDs) a CD player.
