If the Republicans were really smart, they would see the writing on the wall and find a dark horse they could nominate at the convention. Just as I believe that there are a few moderate Democrats left, I believe that there are a few moderate Republicans, too. Whatever people feel about Trump, they’ve got to know that he’s probably going to get trounced. Then again, I never thought he had a prayer of being elected, so maybe the Republicans think it’ll happen again. I do know this, though. This election cycle is going to be very, very interesting.
