I always wondered how many hours the girls spent doing their make-up before shooting that Faith Tones album cover/

The power may be in the beehive…..that would certainly curl your hair, knowing that any second, you may be swarmed upon…..

Hoo! Most of the boys and some of the girls in her neighborhood sure had a strong feeling what that power was. They could explain it just fine.

I have vivid memories of a world where nearly every woman wore a beehive. It is like a fever dream. The horror….the horror.

You too can become a curly girl and use that empowering feeling to launch your career like this young Sarah Palin did. Who knows to what heights you will soar. You may even get to rap “Baby’s Got Back” on national TV. Ain’t life grand?

Dippity-do was a hair gel, usually applied before rolling hair in curlers. Sometimes it was used to smooth down bangs or fly-away hairs.

Okay, I admit I’m having some difficulty deciphering Sister here: which one is “the curly girl”; the curler or the curlee? Or are both of them curly girls? I am not feeling empowered here!

I am feeling rather more balding on top and quarantine-shaggy on the sides and back….
