It could be that some of his supporters are beginning to realize that you can not travel back in time to a place that never really existed on this side [reality] of a TV screen. We have real problems that can not be solved with fantasy authoritarian solutions … that exclude the very people who know how to solve problems.
Second wave? Huh. Fat chance. The “First Wave” hasn’t even close to ended, and Donnie is doing his best, or worst, to see to it that it doesn’t end. Such a winner…
Of course, when Trump loses in November, we can only hope that he will not plagiarize Mercutio, and proclaim “I will not budge for no man’s pleasure, I.” [grammatical error in the original]
Not saying that the following scenario is at all likely, but it’s theoretically possible given the way the Electoral College works. Let’s say Joe Biden wins 11 large states (CA, FL, GA, IL, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX, VA), with a total population (2019 est.) of 184,624,301, and he does so in stunning fashion by a margin of 99% to 1%. That would be 182,778,058 to 1,846,243. Let’s say that he loses by a margin of 49% to 51% in the other 40 states (population 143,615,222) or 70,371,459 to 73,243,763. So Biden would’ve picked up 77% of the popular vote, 253,149,517 to 75,090,006. But he would’ve lost the Electoral College, 258-270.
Can this really be the way the Founders intended a true democracy to operate?
It seems that it was, in fact, teenagers trolling and wildly over-registering for the Tulsa mini-rally that jacked the anticipated attendance number to a ridiculous level. That was then followed by Tяцmp☠’s ridiculous flop. Right on, kids! BE BEST!!

I want to see Trump “waving” bye, bye while shackled to a seat in the back of a police van.

It’s Worsening – {3 beats/line}
It CAN get {and IS getting} worse;
our “greatness” goes fast in reverse.
The Donald is bigly a curse;
may Trumpites mercifully disperse.
… Coda: – {limerick}
Just when might we get some relief
from this derelict Cretin-in-Chief?
He brings us grief
beyond belief.
May his tenure in office be brief.

Did they do the “wave” in Tulsa yesterday? Would have been appropriate.

I think this one’s the perfect slogan – “So I said to my people, slow the testing down please.”

Yeah, that’s his real slogan as it sounds like a two year old made it up.

Wear Your Mask – {1.80 limericks}
Your mask can be efficacious*.
It’s therefore your way to be gracious**, -
- altho’ it’s vexatious // to folks not sagacious …
… {like Trump and his minions // with their ill-based opinions}
[{ They’re loudly loquacious // ‘bout their notions fallacious }].
The maskless they ain’t perspicacious.
… Footnotes:
- * It protects against “moronavirus”.
- ** courteous and kind to others.
