I hope this not that same in all universes. Is it really that hard to find competency and altruism in our political system?

Ted is peeved that his candidate didn’t make the ticket. His prerogative, but I hope he doesn’t VOTE that way.

The beautiful irony here is that, if the RNC had chosen someone SANE back in 2016, not only would the nation most likely be in at least somewhat better shape than now, but that candidate for Prez would likely be putting up better numbers against Biden.

In reality, of course, the squeaky wheel got greased, and we got a Carnival Barker for Chief Executive.

(I apologise to professional Carnival Barker’s Nationwide, and I am certain that Covid-19 has been rough on their businesses as well).

In my opinion, Rall seems to not so secretly admire Trumpism. In wrestling with his conscience over Trump vs. Biden, Republican vs. Democrat, his conscience must be overly oiled up and thus very slippery.

Maybe Byedon can recall how a real government works since the Republicans have totally destroyed this one. Did you see Americans have not been this unhappy since Nixon? Its always the Republicans who terrify the USA.

After decades in the public eye, the MAGAts have only come up with two issues that are supposed to make us vote against Biden. One is that is accused of one sexual assault many years ago. Assuming that this is totally true, which is dubious, this is supposed to make us consider him unfit to be president. By contrast, Trump has a history of paying off prostitutes, attending parties where young girls were the entertainment, and brags about “grabbing p******”. Biden wins that one by a landslide.

The second issue is being senile. This is a closer call. Neither man seems to be at his best ever level, but Biden can usually start a sentence and still seem to remember where he was going with it when he stops talking. Trump has demonstrated quite frequently that he no longer possesses that capability. Biden doesn’t contradict himself within two or three minutes, Trump does this on a regular basis. Biden has his facts straight, and remembers them, though it takes him a bit longer than I would prefer. Trump never knew any relevant facts in the first place, and has no desire to learn the information that would make him an adequate president.

So, no I’m not a fan of either candidate, but I know which one has screwed the job up in every possible way in the last three years, and I think it’s time to try something different. Trump has fumbled a pandemic that killed thousands and created a financial crisis that we won’t be able to get out of for decades. Short of global nuclear annihilation, how Biden could do any worse?

Hmm…It seems almost impossible to explain the reality of the situation to Rall and his supporter. Consider this: You face two people and have to pick one. One has a club and one doesn’t. when asked what they stand for, the one with the club says if you pick me, I will bash you in the head. The other one says if you pick me, I will not bash you in the head. No, it is not the best deal ever. It’s not even close to being a good deal. But think hard before making the choice because others might have to live with your choice, too.

Romans 3:23 – SAD that we can’t all be perfect. Makes me think of a man whose house is on fire turning away a fire truck because it’s not the right shade of red.

Ted hopes that if he draws enough cartoons of Biden saying made up dumb things that people may forget the dumb things that Trump actually says with great regularity

Today’s comic isn’t an honest one. Biden explains what he’d do and what he’s done, as he did just yesterday. Biden is honest. tRump is dishonest. And Bernie Sanders is as dishonest as tRump but the other side of the coin. Some people thrive on being lied to.

Hopefully, there is no such thing as “Bidenism.” We have enough cults already. But hey, if you want to support the orange monster because Biden isn’t Bernie, have fun storming the castle. Just remember what you’re doing to the rest of the world while you do it.

Yeah, it really is too bad that there isn’t a major website explaining all of Biden’s positions in great detail.

Having read excerpts of Bolton’s book, which now do you consider to be more important? (1) Stopping the corrupt, thuggish presidency of Trump or (2) Sending a message that you think the alternative is just as bad?

Bidenism is returning things back to status quo where we put the overt racism and xenophobia back in the box, pretend that they care about minorities and other disenfranchised groups like LGBTQ and Muslims, and focus on continuing to make the wealthy richer and the poorer more dependent on welfare as middle class picks up the cost. Status Quo America is Bidenism.

Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Bush, Trump. While I have no enthusiasm for Biden (his time) I sense a pattern here.

Biden has outlined his policy vision, but the essence of Bidenism is a return to decency, accountability & the Rule of Law.

The truth is, Biden has always tended to position himself in the center of what the Democratic party believes. If progressives want big changes like M4A & free college, they need to elect people to Congress in places that haven’t been friendly to hard left politics. That’s a hard job. It’s much easier to get angry with Biden, Pelosi & Schumer for sticking to what can actually pass in Congress.

What could possibly go wrong by re-electing Trump since he’s already screwed up so many things already ? Surely there’s nothing else since the G.O.P. has said he’s learned a lesson! Just ask them as they run away and avoid answering questions. . . . . like, “Have you asked Trump to campaign with you?”

Sometimes Rall just goes off the rails. An aging Joe Biden is infinitely preferable to a lying, arrogant buffoon who is also the stupidest man ever to reach the White House.

The irony is that Trump is pretty much left with only “Biden is worse” as a campaign strategy. Trump IS demonstrably worse, and that’s pretty much all it will take to rid the country of him.
