Wiley. Love today’s. I’ve been looking forward to it all week

I want to add something to yesterday’s comic. It may have been a mistake, but speaking from many years of experience we learn more from mistakes than never making mistakes. So thank you for the mistake. Many have learned from it and that’s incredibly valuable. As a side note autism and prodigy tend to live on the same branch of a family tree !!

I have two kids, both of whom liked sports. Between them I have coached some forty five teams. I’ve always gotten a bigger thrill out of a disadvantaged child taking a small step than a talented child excelling. ENJOY both of your Jacks

This was going along, so touching and poignant, and then I laughed for the first time in days. Thanks, Wiley!

Humans were’nt around in the Pliocene Epoch, only our distant hominid ancestor, Ardipithecus Ramidus.

Steep learning curve means it’s easy. Mastery on vertical axis, time on horizontal. Look in any introductory psych text.

Lyric: “He’s/she’s/it’s/whatever-floats-yer boat got the whole world in his/her/whatever-floats-yer boat” in hand. The whole wide world. For you and me brother. For you and me sister.

For a minute there, I was expecting to see the boy Survive and grow up to be Ookook of the Mastodons after being adopted and raised by a young female Mastodon.

Hooray for Homer! It’s been years! Is there a legacy Homer collection somewhere? I’d pay for that.
