I surely do wish he were invisible. And inaudible. And letting the actual professionals do the work.

I guess in a way, he is invisible to those who refuse to see him for what he is. The rest of us can see him all too well.

The human beings of America are now the resistance struggling to regain our country.

America is no longer dancing to Trump’s tune or any other mortal being’s. The empty suit is apt but not in the way the cartoonist meant it.

America has now been vanquished by covid-19. It hasn’t gotten around to conquering the hinterland yet, but it’s only a matter of time. Covid-19 will go where it wants and and do what it wants in America until the human race can develop an antiviral Manhattan project.

“General Trump” lead the war against covid-19? Sure, like Mussolini lead Italy to victory. Tell me that Trump isn’t a ridiculous buffoon just like “Il Duce”

Up the rebels ! Glory-o, Glory-o to the bold Fenian men.

The latest headlines tell me that the number of US deaths from covid-19 yesterday (1,344) is two more than Germany’s total so far (1,342).

He is an empty suit of leadership, but full of self serving, narcissistic crap.

People dying because he won’t lead….Fires Inspector General because he got caught….Fires a Captain who had the nerve to try to protect his sailors…Lies about cures for the virus…Holds press conferences that the experts have to walk back daily….

And all this was just in the last 72 hours.

VOTE BLUE! It is not cliche’ to say your life and country really does depend on it.

Republicans investigated 4 deaths in Benghazi endlessly, but 250,000 deaths under Trump is just fine.

    Funny how things turn…

Anti abortionist Republicans who thought Obamacare meant "death panels that “killed grandma” now think Grandma should die to save the economy.

And now the “evil, cage worthy illegal alien” is now deemed “critical in the food supply chain” by Homeland Security!

The latest wishful “thinking” (?) from our Fearless Non-Leader. He’s hoarding ventilators but pimping for untested, unstudied, and unproven drug combinations. Why? Because, he says, “if this drug works, it will be not a game changer because that’s not a nice enough term. It will be wonderful, it’ll be so beautiful. . . " (emphasis added). Obviously, the key word is “if”. See: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-says-he-favors-unproven-drug-combination-over-ventilators/ar-BB12aFf9?li=BBnb7Kz

Trump has very much been a visible enemy all along. The air is filled with his BS on a hourly basis. When an lying, incompetent fool surrounds himself with equally lying, incompetent fools the results shouldn’t surprise anyone. This virus crisis would be a severe challenge for anyone. Some governors and mayors have risen to the challenge. Trump just stuck his fingers in his ears and sang la,la,la. That’s the best he has to offer.

Exactly. Mr. Clay. Now I’d like a reporter to ask him what he is planning to do with “his” emergency supplies — masks and respirators and so on.

The CDC learned of a cluster of cases in China on Dec. 31 and began developing reports for HHS on Jan. 1. But the most unambiguous warning that U.S. officials received about the coronavirus came Jan. 3, when Robert Redfield, the CDC director, received a call from a counterpart in China. The official told Redfield that a mysterious respiratory illness was spreading in Wuhan, a congested commercial city of 11 million people in the communist country’s interior.

Redfield quickly relayed the disturbing news to Alex Azar, the secretary of HHS, the agency that oversees the CDC and other public health entities. Azar, in turn, ensured that the White House was notified, instructing his chief of staff to share the Chinese report with the National Security Council.

From that moment, the administration and the virus were locked in a race against a ticking clock, a competition for the upper hand between pathogen and prevention that would dictate the scale of the outbreak when it reached American shores, and determine how many would get sick or die.
