    It’s getting pretty obvious that the well kept and mowed grassy lawn has a huge ecological footprint. It’s a mindset that needs to be motivated to accept other options for keeping one’s property beautiful. Beautiful landscaping (not talking about dumping a bunch of rocks and gravel on your property here) that does not require bunches of water, fertilizers and herbicides, needs to brought into mainstream consciousness.

    There are a lot of sins out there. I’m uncertain what the greatest ones are anymore. I suppose it has something to do with killing and destruction, not just of ourselves but of the natural world.
